THE GANGSTER, THE COP, THE DEVIL: Ma Dong-Seok Isn’t Going Down Without A Fight In The Official Trailer

2019 is a milestone year Ma Dong-Seok who just made the casting rounds for Marvel’s next-phase adventure, The Eternals. He still has a few home grown gems coming down the pipeline and for this we now turn to a brand new official trailer for The Gangster, The Cop, The Devil, from Man Of Will helmer Lee Won-Tae. Ma is joined by fellow Bad Guys cohort, actor Kim Moo-Yul in the respective roles of Jang and Jung, two men on opposite sides of the law who reluctantly join forces to pursue a serial killer when Jang narrowly survives after becomimg a target himself. Ma’s fellow cohort from The Outlaws, actor Kim Seong-gyu, rounds out the trio as the aforementioned serial killer for the film’s May 15 release. Marvel’s THE ETERNALS Circles Korean Superstar Ma Dong-Seok

With Marvel developing its post-Avengers saga, all eyes are now on what lies ahead for films like Black Panther 2, Black Widow, Shang-Chi and what may come of Disney+’s upcoming programming. This also goes for an adaptation of Jack Kirby’s 1976 comic, The Eternals with studio developments on-going as of last Spring and now with talk of Korean superstar Don Lee – a.k.a. Ma Dong-Seok, potentially joining the cast. Little is known about the plot or what role Ma is in talks to play but the film is said to center on the titular race of ancient human beings, created a million years ago by the cosmic entities known as the Celestials. Ready for Don Lee to conquer your moviegoing 2019? Lee Won-tae‘s The Gangster, The Cop And The Devil which just rolled out its first assets online ahead of its Korean release from Kiwi Media Group. Lee is joined by Illang: The Wolf Brigade co-star Kim Moo-yul for the story of Jang (Lee) and Jung (Kim) two men on opposite sides of the law who reluctantly join forces to end a raft of serial killings when Jang narrowly survives after becomimg a target himself. Actor Don Lee isn’t done kicking ass. Nope, far from it… The star of recent pics including Champion and The Soul-Mate is already in production as of July with 2019-bound thriller, The Gangster, The Cop, The Devil from Man Of Will helmer Lee Won-tae. The film centers on a biased cop who finds an unlikely ally in a crime boss who was left for dead amid a spate of gruesome serial killings. Lee’s titular gangster role will see him joined by Kim Moo-yul (Illang: The Wolf Brigade, Forgotten) who plays the cop, and reunited with fellow cohort from The Outlaws, actor Kim Seong-gyu, otherwise playing the serial killer – or the devil, as indicated by the title. Wanna see a movie starring Don Lee as a badass former gangster-turned-normie forced back into the old life to rescue his captive wife? Take a gander at Well Go USA‘s latest steal with Unstoppable, serving up punches to the face fitting for the actor as he continues to flex his action star muscle in films like Train To Busan, Champion and Along With The Gods: The Last 49 Days. The title alone is indicative of what’s to come because that’s pretty much what Lee at this juncture. Well Go USA published the teaser at their official website for the film’s November 30 theatrical release with Kim Min-Ho directing in his feature debut, and a cast also including Song Ji-Hyo, Kim Sung-Oh, Kim Min-Jae, Park Ji-Hwan, Bae Noo-Ri and Lee Sung-Woo also starring.

CRIME CITY: Don Lee Is All Smiles And Fists In The First Trailer

Actor Don Lee (a.k.a. Ma Dong-Seok) is an absolute favorite of mine, especially after his performance in Train To Busan with Gong Yoo. He’s joined now by documentary filmmaker Kang Yoon-Seong whose narrative debut, Crime City, has arrived in fine, ripped-from-the-headlines crime comedy noir fashion. The four-year effort from Kang – inspired by a spate of arrests in 2007 – sees Lee and actor Yoon Kye-sang leading the story of a detective who struggles to bring down a crime ring in the Garibong neighborhood in Seoul comprised of Korean immigrants from China. Also starring are Inside Men co-star Jo Jae-yun and The King actor Choi Kwi-hwa for the film’s forthcoming release in October. Check out the first official trailer.
