Since the end of Tremors 5: Bloodlines, a very thrilling installment in South Africa pairing up Michael Gross as the eponymous survivalist Burt Gummer with Jamie Kennedy who portrays Travis Welker, Gummer’s son from an indiscretion with a 1960s liberated woman, people could not get enough of this fairly successful franchise and were looking out for a sixth movie in the works. According to Michael Gross from his official Facebook page, he had announced that there was going to be a sixth straight-to-DVD release of Tremors 6 back in late 2016. This time, Graboids are being used as weapons in the Arctic and it’s up to Burt and Travis to take care of this new threat at a remote research station. Originally with a January 2018 release date, Mr. Gross keeps fans updated on his Facebook page with the film’s progress while Syfy works on a new Tremors TV series […]

Our survivalist and reluctant hero Burt Gummer (Michael Gross) is back with a vengeance, a new partner in Travis B. Welker (Jamie Kennedy), and on a new continent, Africa, battling a new kind of evolutionary nightmare Assblaster and Graboid. Both gentlemen are enlisted by an alleged African Wildlife Ministry representative, Erich Van Wyck (Daniel Janks), to capture the beasts. Along with a beautiful wildlife sancutary doctor, Nandi Montabu (Pearl Thusi) and her young daughter, Amahle (Nolitha Zulu), they all come together to do battle with the creatures. This film is a feast for the eyes as this particular production was filmed in the Cradle of Humankind itself, Houtang Province, in South Africa. As Burt tries his best to make a living as an online celebrity with his own show about surviving in the wild, he comes across a maverick 40 year-old riding a motorcycle that interferes with a camera shot […]
Director Don Michael Paul’s latest follow up on a Schwarzenegger classic is now coming home on DVD this May. Yup, Kindergarten Cop 2 is a thing that exists for some reason while action star Dolph Lundgren appears to make it all work on several fronts. SYNOPSIS: In Kindergarten Cop 2, Lundgren plays Agent Reed, who goes undercover as a kindergarten teacher, this time to recover a flash drive with sensitive information that was stolen from the Witness Protection Program. However, in addition to dealing with a handful of students, Reed also faces problems with the school’s “politically correct environment.” Bill Bellamy and Aleks Panouvic also star. Check out the trailer below from JoBlo ahead of its May 17 DVD/Digital HD release from Universal 1440.
Initially, the last thing I personally expected was for there to be a Kindergarten Cop sequel at this juncture, and particularly since its been well over two decades. The first film, directed by Ivan Reitman and starring Arnold Schwarzenegger offered an entertaining blend of action, comedy and charm forcing a badass street cop, and much to his chagrin, to go undercover as a kindergarten teacher in order to protect a mother and her son from a ruthless drug dealer. As needless as it is to say, it’s a film that has earned its title as a memorable classic for Schwarzenegger’s performance, and at least nowadays it’s imaginable to see how a sequel ro a reboot would work. Without Schwarzenegger, however, time will tell, but Universal’s 1440 Entertainment division is now underway with a reboot with Jarhead 2 helmer Don Michael Paul directing from David H. Steinberg’s script. Information is light […]
You know a franchise has been successful when it continues to remain relevant, especially for a direct-to-DVD run. It’s been more than twenty years since actor Tom Berenger took the role of Gunnery Sgt. Thomas Beckett in the 1993 film, Sniper with director Luis Llosa. Five films later, minus the fourth with actor Chad Michael Collins leading, fans of the franchise have reason to celebrate with the forthcoming DVD and Digital HD release of the new film, Sniper: Legacy. Half Past Dead helmer Don Michael Paul picks up where the previous film left off with Collins in the role of Sgt. Brandon Beckett joining his on-screen father to stop a rogue sniper from killing former U.S. military personnel. The film bows at home on September 30 and now offers a trailer which you may check out below!
