Nevertheless, the two are indeed back together and have since shot new action thriller, The Killer (quite the palatable choice here for action fans, I allege), which is now in post-production as of its most recent launch at EFM.

On the eve of a special screening in Berlin where Wild Bunch is repping international sales, horror auteur Dario Argento’s latest return with revenge thriller, Dark Glasses, scored a trailer premiere this week via the trades, and is now officially on par for multi-territorial premieres via AMC’s premium horror streamer, Shudder, beginning this Fall.
Wrapped reportedly as of last month, filmmaker Ric Roman Waugh’s (Greenland, Angel Has Fallen, Shot Caller) new action thriller, Kandahar, has a pair of photos currently circulating online, two of which you can view above. The film marks a rare opportunity for a Hollywood production shoot in Saudi Arabia, billed as one of the first big-budgeted studio titles to shoot in the region.

Veteran first assistant director Nicolas Harvard (Countdown, The Spy Who Dumped Me) makes his feature film debut from a script by John Glosser, Joe Russo & Chris LaMont, and Ben Kabialis, based on an original story by Blair Kroeber.
Highland Film Group is off to the races for the upcoming European Film Market with their slate this year, including action sci-fi thriller 57 Seconds starring Morgan Freeman (Million Dollar Baby) and Josh Hutcherson (The Hunger Games movies).
Aaron Eckhart will star in Muzzle, the new thriller from director/producer John Stalberg Jr. (Lionsgate’s Crypto). The film is set to shoot in July from a script by Carlyle Eubank (Focus Features’ The Signal), and storied by Eubank and Stalberg Jr., with co-financing by Los Angeles-based sales company Highland Film Group who are also handling worldwide rights at the upcoming European Film Market.
Some of the best news this month is coming right out of the European Film Market where deals are being made and casting is underway for numerous projects, developing or otherwise – namely the long awaited Den Of Thieves 2: Pantera, the long-awiated sequel to the inaugural hit 2018 heist thriller which starred Gerard Butler, Pablo Schreiber, O’Shea Jackson Jr. and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson. The sequel was greeinlit a month after the film’s release with an official title etched in the following year.
