The new poster and trailer have arrived for the upcoming CG-animated sci-fi action feature film, Space Pirate Captain Harlock. The film is a remake based on an original manga character dating back to the 1950’s and 1970’s by artist Leiji Matsumoto, about a hero who becomes a space pirate and rebels against Earth’s government to save mankind. The $30 million dollar feature was three years in the making since Toei Animation announced its development back in 2010 for a scheduled 2012 release at the time, in addition to the rebooted anime and manga franchise.
