WAR 2 Trailer Unleashes High-Octane Action Ahead of Indian Independence Day

YRF Spy Universe continues its expansion with the sequel to War, bringing back Hrithik Roshan (Kites, Fighter) as Kabir Dhaliwal. Joining him are N. T. Rama Rao Jr. (Temper, RRR), Kiara Advani (Fugly, Lust Stories), Ashutosh Rana (War, Pathaan), and Anil Kapoor (Slumdog Millionaire, Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol). The film is directed by Ayan Mukerji (Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani), from a script by Shridhar Raghavan and Abbas Tyrewala, based on a story by franchise producer Aditya Chopra. FIGHTER Flies Online With A New Motion Poster For Siddharth Anand’s Indian Air Force Actioner

Viacom18 Studios and Marflix have announced Fighter, a new Indian air force military action adventure rejoining Bang Bang! and War duo, actor Hrithik Roshan and director Siddharth Anand. The first official motion poster teaser is now running online with production signaling a January 25 release next year on the eve of India’s 75th Republic Day. Shamsher Pathania, an aspiring young man, fulfills his lifelong dream of joining the Indian Air Force. As he faces rigorous personal challenges, Shamsher must rise above his own limitations to be a true hero of the Indian Armed Forces. WAR 2: Hrithik Roshan To Return To YRF’s Explosive Spy Franchise For ‘Brahmastra’ Director

Yash Raj Films’ Spy Universe will expand even further with the announcement of War 2, according to a report on Tuesday by Variety’s Naman Ramachandran. The film will be directed by Ayan Mukerji who takes the reins from Siddharth Anand who directed the inaugural 2019 film that featured Bollywood topliners Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff, with Roshan now set to return for the second chapter. As the lore has it, the YRF Spy Universe hails from producer Aditya Chopra and is a sprawling web of action-packed stories of espionage centered on Indian foreign intelligence agents battling dastardly terrorists in the face of betrayal, romantic intrigue, and surmounting odds, topped with the usual winsome musical numbers and striking action and stunt sequences. A full-on remake of James Mangold’s 2010 hit action comedy, Knight And Day, Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif headline the story of a single bank receptionist whose haphazard date with a mysterious man leads to an epic runaway romance, shoehorning the hunt for a luxurious diamond into a pulsating, action-packed tale of espionage, vengeance and love. It was in 2015 when I first caught wind of actor Hrithik Roshan in what would ultimately be my first exposure to Bollywood cinema with Bang Bang. I’ve since been a Hrithik fan after five of his films in total, while additionally keeping track of Jackie Shroff’s martial arts wunderkind offspring, Tiger Shroff who broke out in 2016 with romantic action comedy, Heropanti. Both have planted their feet firmly with their fanbases to date and now they’re readying to etch themselves in further this Fall with action thriller War. The film also stars Vanni Kapoor and reteams Roshan with Bang Bang director Siddharth Anand, and is produced by Yash Raj Films’s Aditya Chopra whose credits partly include the Dhoom trilogy and Vijay Krishna Acharya’s Thugs Of Hindostan. I’ve only seen but a small handful of Bollywood movies in the past few years – my most recent one being Sultan, which I had pure fun with this past summer at the cinema. BANG BANG!: Full Of Fireworks And Quirky Romance Anytime Of The Day

Director James Mangold’s 2010 action spy romcom, Knight & Day, was nothing special when I went to see it, but it nonetheless guaranteed a considerably good time at the movies. Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz worked awesomely together in the story formatted from Patrick O’Neil’s script, and so to see it remade via Bollywood, while nothing new in this day and age, still drew my curiousity. Hence, Siddharth Anand‘s 2014 adaptation, Bang Bang! arrived, and it’s actually my first dig at a film like this from an Indian production, music videos and all. The film takes its cues from its 2010 predecessor here with actress Katrina Kaif as the meek and stoic Harleen, dealing day-in and day-out with the woes of being a lovelorn and single bank receptionist. The New Trailer For BANG BANG Will Slap You Silly And Blow You Away!

Director Siddharth Anand won over the appeal of filmgoers back in July with the first teaser of his newest action romance flick, Bang Bang. Penned as a remake of the 2010 Hollywood action comedy, Knight And Day, the film is being led by leading man Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif, reiterating the classic tale of a woman finding herself in love with a man whose bullet-ridden past will ultimately test her limits as they scatter around the world running away from baddies. Its Hollywood predecessor from helmer James Mangold fared well with me, personally, so I’m curious to see where Anand took the narrative in this his Bollywood take on the story. Bollywood Action Remake BANG BANG! Sounds Off With A New Teaser!

Director Siddharth Anand is looking to set the benchmark for Bollywood action, and the latest trailer for his newest film, Bang Bang!, is every indication. The film was a global production aimed at remaking helmer James Mangold’s 2010 action comedy, Knight And Day, featuring action star Hrithik Roshan and actress Katrina Kaif. Filming delayed midway after location shoots in Thailand, Greece and Phuket when Roshan underwent surgery to remove a blood clot from his brain before wrapping up production in Abu Dhabi, and now the upcoming long-awaited Hindi action thriller will hit cinemas on October 2. As such, the trailer has since gone viral this week and courtesy of Hollywood stunt veteran Andy Armstrong, Bang Bang! marks the latest significant move as Hollywood and Bollywood merge closer and closer with every film, showcasing immense spectacle and promise.
