Assassin Thriller AMBER Lands A Brand New Trailer

Career stuntman David Newton made waves over the weekend debuting the official trailer for his directorial debut, Amber. The end may sure justify the means though, having already stricken acclaim at several events since last year and to date, which already seems to put the film on good trajectory toward positive reception for a wider release. Stuntman and actor Jack Jagodka makes his own starring debut here playing a hitman forced back in the game in order to save his daughter following a botched job. Eloise Carrow produces with a script penned by Newton, and with a that enlists title actress Connie Jenkins-Grieg. Also starring are Kevin Mangar, Jailbreak star Jean-Paul Ly, Marvel’s Doctor Strange actress Katrina Durden and Underground and upcoming Vengeance co-star Beau Fowler. The new official trailer comes following its weekend debut at at the Fighting Spirit Film Festival in the U.K.. Check it out below!

Stuntman and freshman director David Newton is turning heads these days within the festival circuit. Four events in with his debut actioner, Amber, Newton has already swept up several awards and matters of recognition after premiering at Raindance in the U.K. last year. Subsequent events have since extended to Los Angeles and New York, with Oniros in Italy reaping Bests in Fight Choreography, Director, Producer, Original Soundtrack and more. Lack of an actual release date sort of dampens the hype but that the film exists and has the reception its been getting makes it all the more worthwhile to keep fingers crossed. Actor Jack Jagodka makes his feature debut in leading man fashion starring as a former hitman forced to take up arms in order to save his daughter. The U.K.’s talent pool continues onward in bustling fashion as we approach the 25th installation of the Raindance Film Festival in September. Stuntman and freshman director David Newton aims to join the party accordingly now with his turn at the helm well on its way in the new thriller, Amber. Jack Jagodka follows up his own career in stunts for the chance of a debut lead role from Newton’s script that sees a London ex-hitman forced back into the game in order to save his daughter. Rounding out the cast are Kevin Mangar, Vanessa Coffey and Beau Fowler with Yolanda Lynes, Katrina Durden (Doctor Strange), Jean-Paul Ly (Jailbreak), Marcus Shakesheff (Kamikaze), and with actress Connie Jenkins-Grieg in the title role. The official trailer is out as of the weekend while tickets are now available for the film’s September 27 premiere at the Raindance Film Festival. Take a look!
