NIGHT HEAT: Jang Dong-Gun And ‘Bloodhounds’ Star Woo Do-Hwan Lead New Crime Thriller Currently Filming In Thailand

I’m late to the party on this but Korean news outlets have reported the production already underway as of a few weeks ago for action crime thriller, Night Heat. What’s more is that it stars none other than Woo Do-hwan, who lit up our streaming thrills in Jason Kim’s Netflix episodic action-packed drama, “Bloodhounds,” topped off with actors Jang Dong-gun and Lee Hye-ri also leading the roster. Love House helmer Kim Pan-su is directing from his own script a crime thriller spanning a 24 hour period that centers on a group of people fighting to survive in the city of Bangkok, Thailand where even during the night the heat continues. RAMPANT Savages With Political Drama, Zombie Thrills And Hyun-Bin’s Awesomeness

A year after working together on Confidential Assignment, actor Hyun-Bin’s latest return to the screen proves continually fruitful once more with Kim Seung-Hoon on period action adventure horror, Rampant. Why the film underwent three title changes is beyond my own understanding, though Rampant definitely sticks both creatively as well as applicably with respect to the narrative preset in Hwang Jo-Yoon’s screenplay. Ramapant immediately immerses you into its murky Joseon-era milleu with the fiery high-seas raid of a merchant ship and a violent attack on one of the raiders. That exposition sets up the rest of the film in which we meet King Lee Jo (Kim Eui-Sung) as he’s embroiled in the urgency brought about by potential traitors in their midst, including the crown prince himself. Trailer: Choo Chang-Min’s NIGHT OF 7 YEARS Culminates In Mystery And Harrowing Suspense

Author Jung Yoo-Jung’s 2011 novel is resurfacing as the basis for an upcoming thriller adaptation, Night Of 7 Years. The latest trailer sort of lends a bit of flashback fair with titles like A Hard Day and Schwarzenegger pic, Aftermath, both of which respectively deal with the consequences of bad choices, vengeance aside and all. Favorites Ryoo Seung-Ryong (Psychokinesis) and Jang Dong-Gun (No Tears For The Dead, V.I.P.) lead the story centered on a grief-stricken man desperate to cover-up the accidental death of a young girl whilst dealing with her vengeful father eager to find her killer. Directed by Masquerade helmer Choo Chang-Min, stands at well over two hours and as characteristic of Korean cinema, I can only surmise that there’s more to the plot than what’s been offered… I suppose that’s the genius of any good film.
