It’s been a busy month of February for developing news around Marvel’s current production of The Avengers: Age Of Ultron, with filming locations hinting at a gym in New York City, as well as locations in South Africa this month, in addition to reports that events in the preceding Captain America: The Winter Soldier will contribute to events in the new Avengers film which may or may not include Ms. Marvel. Marvel has unveiled its new sneak peek trailer for the upcoming superhero adventure follow-up, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, in addition to some new Cap2 eye candy this month with several character posters which you can now view below courtesy of Yahoo featuring Chris Evans, Samuel L. Jackson, Scarlett Johansson, Robert Redford and Sebastian Stan. Reports are now circulating that actor Thomas Kretschmann has signed on to play another main villain known as Baron Wolfgang von Strucker in the upcoming film, Marvel’s The Avengers: Age Of Ultron. The report comes just a month after rumors circulated around the internet that the character, a H.Y.D.R.A. leader and former Nazi soldier whose body was augmented to the point of near invincibility and invulnerability would be brought on as a secondary villain with specific ties to the characters Quicksilver and Scarlett Witch, being played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Elizabeth Olson, respectively. A little over a week since Marvel fans Marveled at the first trailer footage for The Amazing Spider-Man 2, several extensive announcements have been made, including the film’s IMAX theater distribution, the superhero’s forthcoming presence at this year’s New Years’ Eve bash, a spot during this year’s superbowl and Friday’s announcement from Sony Pictures officially confirming production for the June 10, 2016 release of The Amazing Spider-Man 3, in addition to the hiring of writers to develop spin-off projects for franchise characters such as Venom and The Sinister Six. On the eve of the North American 2D/3D/IMAX premiere of Alan Taylor’s Thor: The Dark World, comic book movie giant Marvel is launching its next big step to bring the action home with the aid of digital platform, Netflix. What’s even more particularly interesting here is that one of the series/mini-series programs will revive the character Daredevil once again since Mark Steven Johnson’s previous 2003 efforts were followed by an abandoned push for the film accompanied by the departure of A-Team helmer Joe Carnahan last year. Coming off of the latest red carpet premiere of director Alan Taylor‘s comic book superhero sequel, Thor: The Dark World in Los Angeles, Marvel and IMAX Corporation are letting filmgoers in on the details with a new press release for its upcoming IMAX release when it is released nationwide on Friday. The film isn’t resting on its last leg of promotion with some thunderous reviews and international box office success in the past week since the film debuted overseas, in addition to its mention in the upcoming crossover episode of Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. on November 19, actor Tom Hiddleston featured in Marvel’s latest podcast, and a LOT of talk about actress Jaimie Alexander merging with DC territory as Wonder Woman for a possible standalone film or the pending Batman vs. Superman movie. Sharni’s most notable credits include the 2011 surf drama, Blue Crush 2 and Jon M. Chu’s 3D dance extravaganza, Step Up 3D with actor Rick Malambri. In the interview, Vinson discusses her role in the upcoming film, and expresses her preference roles that are just as physically challenging. Circulating the internet like wildfire is the latest new announcement from IMAX regaridng the upcoming release of Thor: The Dark World. Just in time for those Thor Halloween costumes to start selling, Marvel is reformatting the film for an earlier IMAX release. The news comes after the release of the newest theatrical trailer for the film, in addition to director Alan Taylor‘s public announcement that he and the crew are adding and reshooting more scenes with co-star Tom Hiddleston who plays Thor’s adopted evil brother-in-arms, Loki, which is interesting considering that Loki won’t be appearing at all in The Avengers 2.
