Matthew Reilly will direct action thriller Interceptor at Netflix. Elsa Pataky (The Fast and the Furious franchise, Tidelands) will star from a script by Reilly and co-writer Stuart Beattie (Collateral, and Tomorrow, When the War Began), opposite with Luke Bracey (Point Break, G.I. Joe: Retaliation). Interceptor centers on an Army lieutenant (Pataky) who must utilize her years of tactical training and military expertise to save humanity as we know it, when sixteen nuclear missiles are launched at the US, and a violent coordinated attack simultaneously threatens her remote missile interceptor station. ZERO Series Teaser Measures True Superhuman Ability

Netflix has launched its first teaser for upcoming Italian series, Zero. Paola Randi, Ivan Silvestrini, Margherita Ferri and Mohamed Hossameldin are directing the series from a script by rising star author, Antonio Dikele Distefano, whose own novel, “Non ho mai avuto la mia età”, serves as the basis for the new series. ZERO tells the story of a shy boy with an extraordinary superpower: becoming invisible. Not a superhero, but a modern hero who learns about his powers when the Barrio, the district of the Milan suburb from which he wanted to escape, is in danger. The first teaser trailer is online joining Mackie with actor Damson Idris for a film by Escape Plan helmer Mikael Hafstrom. Set in the very near future, a disgraced drone pilot (Damson Idris) is sent into a deadly militarized zone where he finds himself working for an android officer (Anthony Mackie) tasked to locate a doomsday device before insurgents do. Former stuntman-turned-action screenwriter Madison Turner is now the latest subject of Netflix’s latest formal feature film announcement, The Ogun. The streamer signaled on Monday the addition of actor Anthony Mackie (Marvel Cinematic Universe) as star and producer on the new action thriller which also has Jason Michael Berman producing for Mandalay Pictures. The Ogun centers on Mackie in the role of Xavier Rhodes, who brings his teenage daughter to Nigeria to find a cure for the rare genetic condition that he passed on to her. When his daughter is kidnapped, Rhodes goes on a rampage through the criminal underworld to find her before it’s too late, testing his powers to the limit.
