NIGHT IN PARADISE: Park Hoon-Jung’s Celebrated South Korean Crime Noir Comes To Netflix In April
While New World and V.I.P. director Park Hoon-jung’s action horror sequel to 2018’s The Witch: Part 1 – The Subversion moves forward, his latest crime noir, Night In Paradise, is currently being primed to release on Netflix following the streamer’s announcement on Monday. The film, starring Um Tae-goo (My Punch-Drunk Boxer), Jeon Yeo-been (Secret Zoo) and Cha Seoung-won (Sinkhole) will launch globally in 190 countries beginning April 9, 2021, following its premiere at the 77th La Biennale di Venezia last year where festival director Alberto Barbera hailed it as “One of the best gangster movies coming from South Korean cinema”.
