Paul Mormando Revenge Thriller, JUSTIFIED VENGEANCE, On Par For December Production

Actor and burgeoning independent filmmaker Paul Mormando is still stirring with projects forthcoming from his Put Up Entertainment banner. Following his recent success with Bound By Debt, cameras are set to roll in December for revenge thriller, Justified Vengeance, wife and production partner, Anna Mormando, returning to the director’s chair. The production hails from Wonderphil Entertainment. Mormando, the Staten Island-based founder of Cha Ki Do whose credits include a small role in Lucas Lowe’s 1991 American/HK crossover cult classic, American Shaolin, and TV series Up On Sugar Hill, stars as a working-class single dad whose world shatters when his daughter is brutally murdered, forcing him to become a vigilante. Indie Martial Arts BOUND BY DEBT Punches Its Way To Amazon Next Week

Ammo Content is proudly releasing Anna Mormando’s writing and directorial debut, Bound By Debt on Amazon VOD beginning July 1. The independently-produced martial arts thriller is the latest effort from actor, martial artist and Cha Ki Do founder, Paul Mormando. Dylan James is a rough and tough underground fighter who is estranged from his family. When Dylan refuses to fight for the mob, the mob boss kidnaps his brother’s daughter to force Dylan back into the fighting game. Now the two brothers have to reunite to save themselves and their family. Bobby Ciasulli also stars and is joined by Nikki Silva and Alexis Mormando with actor Samuel DiFiore and Freedom Williams. It was a few years ago that actor, Cha Ki Do innovator and independent filmmaker Paul Mormando was on the verge of a new webseries called Double Fist. The project has since moved on to feature film status with a few VoD deals in the works, although post-production issues have tentatively impeded the film’s completion. About a week ago I came across an intriguing poster for what looked like a piece of cinema in the works. I ultimately contacted the man featured on it, actor, martial artist, instructor and innovator, avid Bruce Lee and Van Damme fan and native New Yorker, Paul Mormando who is currently working on the production for his upcoming webseries, Double Fist, in which he will also use as a plarform to further showcase his own martial arts system, Cha Ki Do.
