It’s been several years in the making, and now, fans of the hit shortfilm miniseries, Slug Street Scrappers can watch the spectacular final chapter in Slug Street Scrappers 4: Goodbye Goddess, directed and performed by lead actor Micah Brock. If you’ve been keeping up with the series, you know all the characters and intertwining sub-plots there are that now bring you to the epic conclusion that sees principle character, Bruiser Bom Bash, the “toughest scrapper in town” himself, face his greatest opponent yet – The Revered One, played by Rocky Chavez. Personally, I enjoy how deep the series has gotten into some of the performances. You still have your quirky moments, but the tone gets much darker as a few of the key action sequences become less playful and comical, and more hard-hitting and brutal as the stakes get higher with each story arc without losing its family-friendly target audience.
