Watch The New Trailer For SLUG STREET SCRAPPERS 4: GOODBYE GODDESS
The first trailer is online for the upcoming release of Slug Street Scrappers 4: Goodbye Goddess, the finale to a highly successful online action series that hybridizes classic beat ’em up fighting video games of the early 90’s, with a touch of Ong Bak-style choreography. Full of comedy, drama, interwoven character-driven sub-plots and some of the most exceptional action sequences ever to hit the screen, the new short film concludes a four-film saga that began around 2010 with independent filmmaker, actor and action director Micah Brock leading the story of a fighter with a reputation who can’t be beaten, in an urban tournament administered by hidden forces with a bigger, nefarious agenda.
The final battle has begun. During a short calm amongst the chaos, the few remaining Scrappers on Slug Street decide to pull together in a last-ditch effort to change their fate. The conclusion of the Slug Street Scrappers movie quadrilogy begins; early 2014.
“Slug Street Scrappers 4: Goodbye Goddess” takes place months after the events of the original “Slug Street Scrappers” and it’s sequels “Slug Street Scrappers 2: Rise of Ryuken” and “Slug Street Scrappers 3: Beat Em Up”. The series is inspired by the beat em up games of the early 1990’s, more specifically the “Streets of Rage / Bare Knuckle” series.
