THE HIT LIST: April 3, 2017
Needless to say, I have somewhat returned to normalcy and, preferably, in kickass fashion with The Hit List. Actor, stuntman and stunt coordinator John Kreng lights things up this week with an illustrious new work reel chock-filled with stunt action and interview segments he’s done over the years with the likes of Cynthia Rothrock, Benny “The Jet” Urquidez and Keith Vitali. Rounding out the Hit List are reels by Jade Dregorius, Bruce Concepcion, Ariel Lee, Connor Dunn, Malin Kirjonen, Simon Potter, Rosslyn Luke, Gaetan Geloen, Natasha Paul, Noah Schultz, Alli Dunn, Narayana Cabral, Katie O’Donovan and all-around stuntmascot, Zoltan Berencsi.
THE HIT LIST: October 17, 2016
…Anyway, enough of that. It’s time to get to a trio of meaty, mighty playlists for this week’s installment of THE HIT LIST that I know you will have plenty to fill up with. And on that note, we can always count on actor, martial artist, stuntman and filmmaker Eric Jacobus to lead the way for videos specially attributed to the Tekken game franchise. With another already in tow, Armor King is now staking his claim via Eric’s YouTube channel first up in the playlist below, followed by a slew of stunt and demo reels by Luci Romberg, Jake Teel, Sakaeda Ayami, Justin Hall, Daisy Fryer, Fernando Campos, ToniMarie Chiavola, Angel Flores, Meredith Richardson, Roger Bartlett, Noelle Mulligan, Jonathan King, Cavin Mohrhardt and an awesome new fan reel inspired largely by filmmaker Steve Wang’s Guyver: Dark Hero, with actor and martial artist Anthony Houk’s central costume performance in the title role.
Micah Brock And Shane Fazen Present A Duel Of Styles In TAEKWONDO VS. MUAY THAI
Micah Brock, independent filmmaker and action director best known for his recent efforts with his successful online miniseries, Slug Street Scrappers, unveiled his latest short video via Youtube showcasing a cinematic clash of hard-hitting styles in Taekwondo VS. Muay Thai. The new video, of which there are two versions you can view below, pits Brock opposite fellow martial artist Shane Fazen, both whom have accumlated their respective audiences as online martial arts instructors over the last several years through their individual channels as Kwonkicker and Fight Tips.
For online fight fans, the video is but a precursor to a much larger, ambitious movement Brock and Fazen have been developing in recent months with Brock jumping on board as one of a select handful of contributing instructors for Fazen‘s new channel, My Fight Gym, for which he hosted a near half-hour interactive Q&A on Monday. The channel is accomodating willing participants with a two-week free trial offer which just started, so by all means, head over to the official page and subscribe to learn more about what Fazen, and his growing team have in store for you.
Brock‘s current film work on Slug Street Scrappers 4: Beat ‘Em Up is still in post-production, with further projects still likely in development.
Filmmaker Micah Brock Returns To SLUG STREET + New Pics For MACES & MAGES
Filmmaker Micah Brock is letting fans in on what he has planned for the next few months with a new fundraiser for his next installment of Slug Street Scrappers. Say what? New episode? Yep! It was a decision he made after initially choosing to cap things off with the release of Slug Street Scrappers 3: Beat ‘Em Up, the episode with the explosive ending that left everyone who has seen it wondering if and when, hoping there would still be another episode to look forward to. And obviously, I am very glad he has changed his mind. But, he still needs your help to do it!
