BAAGHI 4: Sanjay, Tiger, Blood And Fire In The First Teaser
Tiger is back….and scary AF!
Tiger is back….and scary AF!
Just when you think Bollywood cinema can’t grow bigger, bolder and more bodacious, the official trailer for Bade Miyan Chote Miyan arrives to shut that conversation down, forthwith. Ali Abbas Zafar is at the helm for the two-hander led by Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff. With their contrasting personalities and maverick methods, Bade Miyan and Chote Miyan need to overcome their differences and labor together to transport the offenders to impartiality and preserve the day. The offenders in question would be the army led by the masked madman who apparently wants to destroy India. Alas, what better way to meet such a thriller head on than to call the Kumar/Shroff calvary? How it all pans out is a mystery though as the trailer below sees the two characters duke it out, providing plenty of intrigue to measure against the beefcake bravado and blockbuster ambitions here. Bade Miyan Chote Miyan arrives […]
Hindi barnburner action continues its run with Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, the latest from Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai director Ali Abbas Zafar. The film joins leads Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff for the film which has since moved up its previous December 2023 to an April 10 release in time for the Eid Holiday. Of course there’s little to spot online in terms of plot so the teaser footage below is really all there is to go on, and there’s plenty to take from it if big scale action and brooding with a buddy twist is your thing. And you can tell that Kumar and Shroff end up as buddies, especially when they’re kicking whatever asses are in front of them in typical stylish and coordinated Bollywood fashion. Check it out, and then plan your Springtime moviegoing!
It’s Friday morning and it’s as good as time as any to make note of a Tiger Shroff action flick if you’re up for it. Yes, the official teaser trailer is circulating for Ganapath: A Hero Is Born, a futuristic tale brimming with money shots of the airborne action star joined by a nunchaku-wielding Kriti Sanon and veteran star Amitabh Bachchan, with action scenes designed and coordinated by Tim Man and his team. The Hindi actioner is written and directed by Vikas Bahl and arrives from Pooja Entertainment on October 20.
https://youtu.be/Faz9PrY6xF8 It’s been eight years since Sabbir Khan dazzled Indian moviegoing crowds with the amazing feats of actor Tiger Shroff and the romantic, beat ’em up escapades of Heropanti. Granted, I’m not really sure if you need to see that one in order to follow up with its current sequel, though all that’s known in terms of the connection is that Shroff is back playing a character with the same name. At any rate, you can expect this latest offering from director Ahmed Khan to have pretty much double and maybe even triple the ridiculousness of the first in terms of action and spectacle. Tiger taking on moving cars single-handedly, dressed to perfection for sweeping dance choreo set or to simply show some muscle through ripped clothing, all set against a vivid and lively backdrop per this kind of cinema and…well… there you have it. Babloo is a computer genius […]
Martial arts, insane stunts, comedy, romance, music… All this put together is Baaghi. The mix of genres that distinguish Indian movies makes this production madly enjoyable. The movie is a continue homage to different martial arts vintage classics, that comes from “36th shaolin chamber”, “snake on the eagle shadow” to modern classics as “ong bak” or even “The Raid“. They even added final credits outtakes as Jackie Chan films used to do. Maybe that lack of originality will never allow this flick to become a classic of the genre but that doesn´t mean that this movie is not crazily badass. Tiger Shroff establishes himself as an ultimate action hero, displaying fantastic martial arts skills and doing many crazy stunts. Fortunately for people who loves good martial arts scenes, here they are shot perfectly, with good camera angles in which you can appreciate the action and without stupid camera shaking movements […]
I enjoyed the mindless spectacle and thrills of the first Baaghi and still need to see the second film. At any rate however, I’m pretty sure the story doesn’t matter at this point, because as much as this trailer sells itself, I’m basically died while I wrote this piece. Ronnie and Vikram are brothers who share an unbreakable bond. Since childhood, Ronnie always comes to the rescue whenever Vikram falls in any trouble. Their journey begins when a certain turn in events, leads Vikram to travel abroad to complete some work. On this trip, Vikram gets kidnapped by people who are not to be messed with but as Ronnie witnesses his brother getting beaten and kidnapped, he knows that he will do whatever it takes to destroy anyone and anything that stands in the way of Vikram’s safety. Ronnie goes on a rampage of destruction to see his brother safe […]
It was in 2015 when I first caught wind of actor Hrithik Roshan in what would ultimately be my first exposure to Bollywood cinema with Bang Bang. I’ve since been a Hrithik fan after five of his films in total, while additionally keeping track of Jackie Shroff’s martial arts wunderkind offspring, Tiger Shroff who broke out in 2016 with romantic action comedy, Heropanti. Both have planted their feet firmly with their fanbases to date and now they’re readying to etch themselves in further this Fall with action thriller War. The film also stars Vanni Kapoor and reteams Roshan with Bang Bang director Siddharth Anand, and is produced by Yash Raj Films’s Aditya Chopra whose credits partly include the Dhoom trilogy and Vijay Krishna Acharya’s Thugs Of Hindostan. The story itself is a mystery but regardless of what the plot is, for now, the teaser goes pretty damn big and bold […]
Actor and martial arts star Tiger Shroff is ready to follow up on the last five years he’s spent making his foray into the indistry. The Munna Michael and Heropanti star is back and hitting harder and heavier these days with several projects in the making, and seemingly with an unmistakable effort to prove himself as India’s answer to Rambo… In at least one instance…literally, while seperately, we have the return of our star in Baaghi 2 following the 2016 hit film and readying a Spring release that sees Shroff back in action with the usual array of big kicks, explosive battles and stunts topped with Shroff’s cinematic appeal. This, being the second of a trilogy in the works with Ahmed Khan following up on Sabbir Khan’s work should service fans plentily from here on. A battle-hardened army officer goes in search of his ex-lover’s child who is mysteriously kidnapped. […]
There’s still a ways before we get to see what comes of action star Tiger Shroff’s turn as Rambo in an upcoming remake set for next year. In the meantime, his latest turn on stage with the new film, Munni Michael, sees our star pursuing his dreams as a dancer following in the footsteps of the late, legendary King Of Pop with actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui and actress Chetna Pandi. In this case, I had no idea the gloved one’s career involved kicking as much ass as Shroff does in the latest trailer for the film ahead of its July 21 release. It’s only suitable though, and probably a worthwhile feat as the film marks Khan’s third film with Shroff after Heropanti and Baaghi. Plus, it’s Bollywood so the song and dance is obviously prevalent and Shroff looks absolutely in his element. Take a look below, and just beneath, feel free […]
Whatever likes and shares that followed online notwithstanding, some folks on the internet lost their minds when they learned an Indian action star was going to reprise the lead role in a Rambo remake. It’s not a bad move seeing as how actor and martial artist Tiger Shroff (Heropanti, Baaghi) has earned himself some notable starpower in the last few years. Alas, he’ll be the one playing the title role as inspired by Ted Kotchoff’s 1982 adaptation of David Morrell’s 1977 novel which helped catapult a younger Sylvester Stallone into Hollywood stardom. As for whether Shroff looks the part or not, he took some time over the weekend to share a preliminary poster for the film which, for what it’s worth, answers the question for folks who are curious. The Indian Rambo will follow the last surviving member of an elite covert unit of the Indian Armed Forces who returns home to […]
Welp, it was to be expected. And it could be a good thing too with the current development of an Indian remake of muscle-bound action movie classic, Rambo, with Bollywood action star, actor and martial artist Tiger Shroff starring. Bang Bang! helmer Siddharth Anand will direct the film with the involvement of M! Capital Ventures, Original Entertainment, Impact Films and Siddharth Anand Pictures. via THR: The Indian Rambo will follow the last surviving member of an elite covert unit of the Indian Armed Forces who returns home to discover a war waging in his own land. Forced into the dangerous jungles and frozen mountains of the Himalayas, he unleashes mayhem and destruction, becoming the unstoppable machine he was trained to be. The original film takes its cues from David Morrell’s 1977 novel, “First Blood”, lending a young Sylvester Stallone what would become one of the actor’s most memorable, and […]
Action star Tiger Shroff has had a pretty successful breakthrough in the last few years since debuting in the 2014 film, Heropanti. He followed suit this year with his sophomore starring role in the Raid-inspired action romance, Baaghi, and now he’s pivoting to the superhero genre with Remo D’Souza’s latest, A Flying Jatt, which, despite some lackluster wirework and visuals, still garners something spectacular and comedic to couple with the action for all audiences. For this, we get Shroff in the role of India’s youngest superhero – a haphazard and reluctant savior who’s got the hero pose down packed in this trailer, but still needs work on his overall delivery. Also starring is Dishoom co-star Jacqueline Fernandez along with the looming threat that is Nathan Jones as the film’s mighty supervillain. A teaser has already gone viral but a full trailer came out this week offering plenty to sample with […]
Rising action star Tiger Shroff’s 2014 debut, Heropanti, is still on my queue while I also wait to get my hands on his most recent martial arts thriller, Baaghi. That trailer alone sold me way more than the former and so you can best believe I’m catching it first chance I get whether on DVD or streaming – and no, I’m not watching a torrented copy, because I’m not an asshole. Anyhow, yes, that’s Shroff paving his way to action stardom and with nothing short of an ambitious approach to his latest feat, A Flying Jatt from Balaji Motion Pictures. Remo D’Souza directs with a story about a young Punjab village farmer who is God’s divine protector. Also starring is actress Jacqueline Fernandez and hulking actor Nathan Jones fresh from his role in George Miller’s Mad Max: Fury Road, starring here as the villiain. The latest trailer already has millions […]
Actor Tiger Shroff had a great run debuting as a newcome action star in the 2014 film, Heropanti, otherwise proving he has the chops to stay afloat. As such, he’s about to do so once more with the new movie, Baaghi, and not to be confused with the 2000 Sanjay Dutt-starrer of the same name depending on who you ask. SYNOPSIS: Baaghi is the story of Ronny, a rebellious 23-year-old from Delhi. Fearing his unruly and angry temperament his father sends him to a disciplinary academy set in a sleepy town in Kerala. While traveling to the academy he meets Siya who also carries a rebellious streak but nonetheless spark fly between them. After his enrollment, Ronny encounters the star student Raghav and things get awry between them when Raghav falls for Siya as well. Years later Ronny is informed that Siya is abducted and is called upon for help […]
The martial arts cinema genre is still fair game anywhere around the world, including the inner-circles of Bollywood cinema, an industry that is said to produce out up to a good thousand films per year. And in 2014, actor Jai Hemanta Shroff who goes by the official screen persona, Tiger Shroff is ready to jump onboard the action scene in his upcoming theatrical debut, Heropanti. A bastian of fitness, avid Bruce Lee fan and son of veteran actor Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff, Tiger has driven some pretty huge buzz in the past few years as the next big thing despite being a fresh face. And as of late, Tiger‘s made himself pretty busy promoting his new film, even so far as giving live performances with his team to illustrate the authenticity of his skill set without wires. Directed by Sabbir Khan, Heropanti stands to be the first of two films […]
