[UPDATED] Get An Official First Look At CBS's RUSH HOUR!

The prospects of remaking a certain property always carry some form of worry for fans. Despite this, early screenings of footage this year for the upcoming premiere of the CBS action comedy series, Rush Hour, have proven positive and thus promising a show fans might well enjoy. A premiere date hasn’t been announced yet although the show is arriving in 2016. Martial artist and actor Jon Foo teams up with actor and comedian Justin Hires to reprise respective roles of their film predecessors and the hit trilogy from New Line Cinema. Rush Hour—a reimagining of the hit feature film franchise—is a buddy-cop drama about a maverick LAPD detective and a by-the-book detective from Hong Kong who knock heads when they are forced to partner together. Turning films into television series adaptations have become quite a thing as of late. Shows like Shooter, Limitless, Rush Hour, Galaxy Quest and Minority Report are all gaining a foothold for TV treatment away from their theatrical heyday,8 and at the rate we’re going, I wouldn’t be surprised if John Wick went to the small screen after its current theatrical growth. Time will tell when that will happen if the trend remains, but at least fans of the popular Jack Ryan novels and films will have something to look forward to thanks to former Lost co-showrunner Carlton Cuse and scribe Graham Roland, who are currently preparing to bring Jack Ryan to full series fruition according to Deadline. Angelica Celaya Joins NBC's CONSTATINE

Actress Angelica Celaya came on my radar in the past year or so with the long awaited release of director Fernando Barreda Luna’s conceptual Grindhouse action short, Kiss Of Vengeance. Further updates are still developing on that end, although Celaya will soon find herself in the throes of a brewing war between the underworld and the living realm this Fall with her latest addition to the cast of the new NBC series, Constantine, based on the DC Comics property of the same name. Variety reports that Celaya will play the character Mary “Zed” Martin, who becomes John Constantine’s love interest as she joins him against the forces of darkness. Celaya’s announcement solidifies her role in place of actress Lucy Griffiths who will appear in the pilot, directed by Neil Marshall.
