Team 2X Is Ready For The Next Level With GENETIX
James Mark is a Ontario-based, aspiring independent martial arts action filmmaker with his own action company called Team 2x. For the past eleven years, he has also been a martial arts stunt performer for stage, film and TV, learning everything he now knows from veteran Jackie Chan stunt team member and industry action director, Bradley James Allan. James, whose current list of credits include everything from stunt performer and fight choreographer, to writer, producer, actor and director, has already begun embarking on a mission with his team to make their dreams come true, with the launch of a brand new Indiegogo campaign to help fund a unique martial arts drama titled Genetix, a production to be made in the same vein of Japanese Anime, starring his brother, Chris Mark, in the lead role.
In their campaign video, James explains how it all began, from stage and stunt performer to adhering to his passion as a full-fledged action filmmaker. James also provides an insightful testimony about the importance of the dream he shares with his team to turn this film from concept into a possible reality at the fraction of the cost it would take to make a big-budget blockbuster action movie of the same kind, especially after the success of such films as Drive (directed by Steve Wang), Never Back Down 2, Death Grip, Ong Bak and The Raid: Redemption.
In sum, Team 2X has a dream to take their knowledge of film, storytelling, martial arts, stunts and choreography to the next level, with the promise of bringing you history-making quality martial arts action cinema. And they need YOUR help to do it.
