Tamil Crime Epic VENDHU THANINDHATHU KAADU Opens Worldwide This Weekend, So Don’t Miss The Official Trailer!
This is me just now awakening my brain cells to the memory of a film action director Lee Whittaker briefly mentioned in our previous interview with Tamil crime thriller epic, Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu. That film’s trailer has already been out for a while now to market the latest from director Gautham Vasudev Menon and with the film now in select cinemas worldwide as of this weekend, I figure I’ll give it a last minute push and if it helps get your eyes on it, even better.
Muthuveeran, a graduate from rural Tamil Nadu, comes to Mumbai to earn money for his struggling family, consisting of his mother and younger sister. The story revolves around him and the dark underworld of Mumbai, where people like, Muth, are ordered to kill others, for a livelihood. The film portrays Muthuveeran’s life, from a struggling young man to becoming a much feared and respected gangster.
The film is actually billed as the first in a larger scheme of things, hence the title Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu Part I: The Kindling, to make things more interesting. Menon directs from his own script storied by B. Jeyamohan with a cast led by actor S.T.R. and actresses Siddhi Idnani and Raadhika Sarathkumar, among others.
