THE BATMAN Riddles An Explosive Early Tale Of The Dark Knight In The Official Trailer
DC’s The Flash? Aquaman 2? Shazam 2? The Peacemaker series? Pick your respective poisons, kids. I, along with a select few of others were just here for perhaps one thing and one thing only for the time being, which was the long-hyped official trailer for The Batman following last year’s in-production promo as principal photography remained and wrangled on through the pandemic last year. Follow the hype long enough via Twitter and you’ll hear plenty about the film’s overall narrative delivery and expected duration which is said to be close to three hours, which sounds like plenty of Batman for your…uh…Batbuck?
Robert Pattinson and ZoĆ« Kravitz were on hand with director Matt Reeves to discuss the film during Saturday’s late hour DC Fandome presentation, showcasing behind the scenes footage along with some extra goods here and there from the film as well, but the new trailer is where we’re at now, and it definitely plays to the base. Pattinson makes way in the title role opposite Kravitz as Selina Kyle with Colin Farrell as Oswald Cobblepot, Paul Dano as Edward Nashton, Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon, Andy Serkis as Alfred, John Tuturro as Carmine Falcone and many more with a release date set for March 4, 2022.
