I’ve got a lot on my plate going forward in the next few months. Hopefully life doesn’t swallow me whole by then and if I’m fortunate, perhaps I’ll share the details later this year. At current, however, my focus is on maintaining the usual normal day-to-day here, and as always, that includes another round of formidable stunt reels and shorts for The Hit List.
First up is a tasty raft of stunt performance and choreography demo reels by Brendon Huor, Somnang Mao Chay, Joshua Romeo, Kimberly Shannon, Bobby James, Jordan Arrendondo, Lauren Nguyen, Seth Frase, Herdlyn Evans, Shane Minerich, Kamy Bruder, Puranjay Samson, Aline Mayne, Kyle Wong, Benni Grams, Judit Sziva and Shaun Charney.
Feel free to catch up on the most recent crowdfunders for Patrick Lim’s A Father’s Son and the upcoming one-night event for Slayer: The Repentless Killogy. In the meantime, Alfred Hsing’s latest trailer for lifestyle webseries, Martial Arts And A Meal, is online teasing the Karate Hottie herself, actress and martial artist Michelle Waterson.
Shawn Bernal and Nathan Peoples kick off the ‘fights and films’ section of The Hit List from Kyle Murillo, followed by Noah Bain Garrett’s latest with Branden Arnold and Kawui Joa, a new comedy bit from Selwyn Huqueriza and Ed Mecate, wire concept practice action by Adam J. Lytle and lensed by Micah Moore, Kai Young’s latest with Mikey Saubert, a brief action drama short from Orlando Naveo, Jean-Paul Ly’s Redcon1 award-winning short, Pumped Fiction, Ten15 Films with Saber Comp entry, Dissonance, Dani Medina’s latest energized action short, Instinct, Kamen Ramen with a spectacular second offering of Power Ranger fan film fandom starring Amanda Cass, and Amy Johnston as she takes to the BADcave to battle the calories.
Last and far from least is the new webseries fitting for the month of October in Rock Paper Scissors from Two Coins Productions. All six episodes are online in the playlist just below.
