THE HUNTRESSES Gets A New Trailer And Release Date!
Releasing in South Korea on January 29, 2014 is the long-awaited Joseon period sageuk action adventure, The Huntresses. And this week, the film is back with a brand new character trailer which delivers more of what filmgoers can expect, including its fair of high-flying swordplay, quirky dialogue, silly comedy and…bellydancing! The new release date and trailer come just as a new poster and trailer were also unveiled last year, breathing a sign of life back into the film since its delay last year, protracted lengthy post-production process.
As a child, Jin-ok witnessed the murder of her father and narrowly escaped death. She is taken under the wing of Mu-myeong, the man who saved her life, and trains in martial arts alongside two other girls. 10 years pass and the girls are now Joseon’s best bounty hunters. One day, Jin-ok is asked to take on a case for a handsome reward. Against their master’s wishes, the trio takes on the job, not knowing it will eventually lead them to the man responsible for the death of Jin-ok’s father 10 years before.

what a disappointing movie, even though it is not released yet.
they spent so much on production, you can tell by the costumes, yet the movie is aimed at teens and women.
if you want to watch a better female action movie/martial arts, please watch RAZE.
Much better than this crap, and more mature. This is real fighting, not this joke movie:/
problem is Raze is kinda gory:/
