The NSFW Teaser Trailer For BURSTING POINT Is A Bloody Drag…I Said What I Said
Calvin Tong’s feature directing debut arrives in the good company of dynamic film duo Dante Lam and Candy Leung as producers. That title now arrives in the form of Bursting Point following promo footage teasing the Hong Kong and Malaysia-shot crime thriller in BTS footage earlier this year in time for HK FilMart.
To that affect, we’re also getting a helluva goddamn trailer showing us what’s to come. It’s a wee bit of a spoiler, a minute long with violence and gore in full, unabashed gratuity as we see Nick Cheung stare down a suspect holding one rather unfortunate character hostage before being… well… the teaser trailer below will say plenty. It’s not for the faint of heart. Oof!
This is the story of a chief inspector in the anti-narcotics unit who holds true to his beliefs as a police officer. He puts everything on the line to crack down on drugs and bring drug traffickers to justice. How will our hero resolve this “bursting point” crisis?
