UNLEASHED: Hong Kong Martial Arts Drama Officially Underway From ‘S.P.L.’, ‘Paradox’ Producer
As announced by Sun Entertainment Culture Ltd., production is officially underway in Hong Kong for action drama, Unleashed. The film is one of a raft of Hong Kong titles that have been drawing buzz this past week at the American Film Market with Entertainment Power Co. repping the film internationally for buyers.
Directing duo Kwok Ka Hei and Ambrose Kwok are penning and helming Unleashed which follows an underground boxer out to settle the score with his master’s rival, a former champion fresh out of prison and looking for retribution. Headlining are cast members Sun Zhen Feng, Zheng Zi Ping, Venus Wong and Fire Lee, and venerable action star and actor Ken Low.
S.P.L. franchise producer Paco Wong is producing the film which also has ex-U.S. Marine and multi-faceted self-defense instructor, actor Chris Collins (Paradox, Wolf Warrior, upcoming Ip Man 4), serving behind the scenes as action director.
