Victor Vu’s THE IMMORTAL Teases A Foreboding Tale Of Timeless Mystery In The First Trailer
Fantasia will be the next festival highlight for Vietnamese director Victor Vu’s recent hit, Loi Bao starring Cuong Seven in July. In the meantime, the wait now settles through October for the release of Vu’s The Immortal which now has a first trailer to show for its efforts reuniting Vu with core Loi Bao crew members, action director Vincent Wang and action producer Jason Ninh Cao.
Thankfully you can largely divulge as much of the plot as you wish from the subtitles which gives this an impression as something of a supernatural period epic with some shots hinting at an early 20th century setting. Loi Bao antagonist, actor Quach Ngọc Quan takes the mantle in the lead role this time around joining the aforementioned Seven actress Dinh Ngọc Diep and fellow Lôi Bao co-star Vũ Tuấn Việt.
