Whirlwind Action Presents: SLUG STREET SCRAPPERS 4: GOODBYE GODDESS

It’s been several years in the making, and now, fans of the hit shortfilm miniseries, Slug Street Scrappers can watch the spectacular final chapter in Slug Street Scrappers 4: Goodbye Goddess, directed and performed by lead actor Micah Brock. If you’ve been keeping up with the series, you know all the characters and intertwining sub-plots there are that now bring you to the epic conclusion that sees principle character, Bruiser Bom Bash, the “toughest scrapper in town” himself, face his greatest opponent yet – The Revered One, played by Rocky Chavez.
Personally, I enjoy how deep the series has gotten into some of the performances. You still have your quirky moments, but the tone gets much darker as a few of the key action sequences become less playful and comical, and more hard-hitting and brutal as the stakes get higher with each story arc without losing its family-friendly target audience. The series is nicely-acted and the action sequences are sharply delivered by a very talented cast of genuine martial artists and stunt performers whose work I’ve come to familiarize myself just over the past year.

The final battle has begun. During a short calm amongst the chaos, the few remaining Scrappers on Slug Street decide to pull together in a last-ditch effort to change their fate.

The official Facebook page for Whirlwind Action recently hinted at a possible continuation of the series which could take some time to assemble if greenlit. For now though, this will tentatively be it for the series until an official announcement is made. Otherwise, Brock and company will be working to manifest other webcontent ideas within the next two years.
In the meantime, if you plan on staying home for an indoor movie this weekend, Slug Street Scrappers 4: Goodbye Goddess is one I highly recommend. And if you haven’t seen the series from part one, you can catch it all in the official YouTube channel for Whirlwind Action in the embed portal below.
Brock and Chavez are joined by Katelyn Brooke, Tess Kielhamer, Maggie Clarke & Jacob Roark. Enjoy!
