6 JILAKE: A Ragtag Band Of Scoundrels Join Forces To Protect A Village In The Official Trailer
Period action adventure comedy 6 Jilake (or 6 Scoundrels) is next up from award-winning director Aziz M. Osman (Trauma). The film stars Amerul Affendi, Saiful Apek, Bell Ngasri, Asmidar, Kazar Saisi and Mamak Puteh.
In the 18th century, the Dutch East India Company aimed to control all tin mines in Perak to outcompete other foreign powers. They hired a group of thugs called 6 Jilake to oversee the mining areas, including Kampong Ketayap. However, the village remained protected by a warrior named Kuping and resisted their control. The 6 Jilake were tasked with capturing the village, believed to hold valuable hidden treasures.
6 Jilake already has several teasers online as well as some behind the scenes gems from some months back. The newest official trailer has now arrived ahead of its April 24 release in Malaysia.
