The third phase of Marvel’s Cinematic Universe is officially underway come next month’s release of Captain America: Civil War, and talk is already a stir for the Avengers: Infinity War films in the next several years. Smrz's 24 HOURS TO LIVE Among A Slate Of Titles In A Deal With Barco Escape

It was on Monday when some of us first caught wind of entertainment company, Barco Escape, amid the promotion of Justin Lin’s Star Trek: Beyond; To start, I think it’s unfortunate that not all theaters can accomodate such theatrical technology, but the idea of expanding and augmenting screens for a more immersive moviegoing experience will otherwise prove delightful for anyone in the vicinity of these locations. More importantly now is the relevance it bears with all things happening this week at CinemaCon in Las Vegas, Nevada. The company is now putting out a new announcement that will accomodate a production deal between two company, thus, adding a slew of titles to rack up for the next several years for Barco’s movie arsenal. Thus, the collective love hasn’t been lost at all with the staunch approval from fans over the latest efforts from J.J. Abrams and one forthcoming via director Rian Johnson this winter as the new wave of reinvigorated Star Wars fandom continues, and if it won’t be too much for you come this summer, then you’re in for a real treat. Following this week’s teaser poster unveiling is the first teaser footage from director Ali Abbas Zafar’s new film, Sultan starring Salman Khan. There’s plenty more to the film while the teaser doesn’t provide much to gab about, but it’s a little something to whet the appetite before a full trailer and the film’s Eid release this summer from Yash Raj Films. Watch The Latest Trailer For Boyapati Sreenu's SARRAINODU

Talk about over-the-top. Director Boyapati Sreenu’s newest Telugu action thriller, Sarrainodu is well on the way with actor Allu Arjun back in the limelight for a release in India on April 22. The film hails from Geetha Arts which produces many blockbusters and is headed by Arjun’s father, Allu Aravind, which explains why this looks as epic as it does. There’s no story available to share, but do check out the trailer, and if you’re left wondering why not a single thread of hair was thrown out of place during any of the action you’re about to sample, don’t worry…I’m right there with you. This is pretty sick stuff and it’s all tantamount to Indian action cinema, which makes it all forgiveable and entertaining right down to the end. (H/T: Twitchfilm)

Lately I’m getting the feeling that the workload here is lightening up a bit – it feels like a bit of a sign that I may be running out of awesome shorts to share and I hope I’m wrong. It’s fair to say that directors Anthony and Joe Russo have met the standard for Marvel’s take on Captain America. They proved their chops in 2014 with The Winter Soldier and all career buzz aside, their latest, Captain America: Civil War is pretty much selling itself at this point with all the positive feedback it’s now getting from early screening audiences. We’ll hear what the critics have to say in due time. Until then, the film is on a heavy quest to promote the hell out of itself with clips and TV spots. When you hear the name, Scott Eastwood, you’re hearing of someone whose about to have a really great year in film. The Suicide Squad co-star recently lined up a few starring roles in titles such as Overdrive and Joel Souza’s sci-fi crime thriller, Crown Vic, and now it appears that he’ll be partaking in another tentpole film with Fast 8 under director F. Paramount Pictures is officially in the business of impressing as many Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fans as much as possible in the wake of their 2014 hit reboot from helmer Jonathan Liebesman. Thus, with David Green at the helm, the upcoming sequel, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out Of The Shadows is drawing more and more from its familiar roots with characters like Bebop and Rocksteady along with actor Brian Tee cast to bring back Shredder from the first film. You also get the talking brain-alien named Krang as seen in previous trailers and promos opposite the newly added Stephen Amell as streetside outlaw Casey Jones among our halfshell heroes, which is a plus for anyone fond of the franchise as a whole. Say what you will about Warner Bros, but they still have a schedule to keep with some of their films – particularly when it comes to their current slate of DC films, and it seems for the most part, they’re doing exactly that. The underperformance Zack Snyder’s Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice drew somewhat of a red flag for the studio on a few levels, one of which brought about their recent decision to focus more on their franchises over original properties. As such, director David Ayer has something going for himself with the forthcoming release of Suicide Squad which, itself, still boasts quite the excitement for comic book movie fans. You have to have a lot of confidence about yourself as a filmmaker to stake your claim as the next Bruce Lee. Many would normally frown or, to say the least, lend some capacity of speculation to that matter, but that doesn’t hugely appear to be the case for actor and filmmaker Yue Song whose veracity as the latest in upcoming action stardom is a work that clearly speaks for itself. Thus, when you look at a trailer for a film like his newest, Super Bodyguard, you’re looking at a piece of work that appears to bet everything its got. Song did the same with the 2013 action drama, King Of The Streets and with a distinctive approach to action unmarred by wirework or trick cinematography, presents a pill very much easy to swallow. Deadline is reporting that Joe Shrapnel and Anna Waterhouse, the screenwriters behind the Jesse Owens biopic, Race, are on board to write the sequel for the 2014 cult hit, Edge Of Tomorrow. The first film adapts the hit manga, “All You Need Is Kill”, with a plot that saw actor Tom Cruise as a public affairs military major swept into an Earthbound battle with aliens in which his own catastrophic death mingles his blood with the enemy, forcing him in a time loop that repeats the day over and over. BASTILLE DAY Sees A Footchase And A Fear Of Heights In A New Clip

In case you’ve forgotten, director James Watkins and the folks over at Studiocanal still have an action thriller to sell, and with its best foot forward with actor Idris Elba kicking down the action star door for Bastille Day which opens in the UK on April 22. The film joins him in a story of a tough CIA field agent in Paris who gets caught in a web of intrigue with only the help of an elusive pickpocket to solve a deadly conspiracy. Richard Madden of Game Of Thrones fame plays the pickpocket, and as you’re about to see, while he may be good at pickpocketing, he’s way less graceful when it comes to perilous foot chases atop of Parisian apartment structures. Geez, didn’t he see Harrison Ford make the same mistake in Frantic? Whew! Check out the clip below and a recent TV spot for the film!
