The kind of things that freerunners are capable of never fail to blow minds, particularly in the case of Flow’s latest video featuring UK freerunner and filmmaker, Toby Segar, who’s been running leaps and bounds since the age of eleven. Now, at nineteen, it’s safe to say that Segar has become quite exceptional at his craft, something that has turned out to be beneficial for the folks at Parkour clothing apparel company, Take Flight. And with Eminem as the backdrop of this energizing music video, you’ll be sure to grant your Saturday morning a proper start. Approximately four days ago, new Instagram photos arrived online this week from the production of Everly, courtesy of writer and director Joe Lynch. Co-written by Yale Hannon, Everly is as a contained action thriller starring actress Salma Hayek as a down-on-her-luck woman forced to defend herself against swarms of Yakuza assassins sent to torture and kill her when her crime boss lover finds out she’s an FBI informant. Hayek reportedly received exclusive training in twenty different weapons with special forces in Belgrade, Serbia where the film was shot and recently completed. “You’ve never seen me like this before,” says Hayek in a recent article at USA Today. “And I love it. On Thursday, Collider took to the web to share a new set of photos from upcoming releases and current productions, including one photo featured over at Indiewire, the first from the set of director Camille Delamare‘s American parkour action thriller remake, Brick Mansions, based on Pierre Morrel’s 2004 French-language hit, Banlieue B13, which starred Parkour trendsetter, actor David Belle and actor/fight choreographer Cyril Raffaelli. The photo features lead actor Paul Walker, inheriting Raffaelli’s previous role as a cop reluctantly partnered with a street smart freerunner to recover a weapon of mass destruction from a major drug pusher within the ghetto known as “Brick Mansions”. Korean Assassin Thriller COMMITMENT Comes To The U.S. This December

Following previous reports in October that director Park Hong-soo‘s latest Korean action thriller, Commitment, was picked up for North American distribution, Well Go USA has a new minute-long trailer for the film set for a limited theatrical release on December 6 in select cities. Formerly titled The Alumni, Commitment stars Korean hip hop artist and Big Bang frontman Choi Seung-hyun (a.k.a. 2013 saw a pretty eventful summer for independent filmmaker Leo Kei Angelos who gained significant notoriety for his stellar DC Comics Wonder Woman tribute, First Impressions, and the highly favored live-action stunt-loaded ode to Family Guy, Epic Chick Fight. Amidst the height of his press Angelos took the time to share a comedic little action skit titled Hip-Hop vs. Ballet GANG FIGHT. Newly reuploaded on his YouTube channel, Angelos directed the piece and briefly appears with lead performer, actor Geran Simpson, whose most recent action reel can be viewed by clicking HERE.
