BLADE RUNNER 2049: Questions Loom In The First Official Trailer For The Highly Anticipated Sequel
Planning Sicario helmer Denis Villeneuve to helm the long-awaited sci-fi sequel, Blade Runner 2049, seems to be paying off so far ahead of its release this October. Following its teaser late last year and last week’s announcements, a cast and crew Q&A on Facebook has finally revealed our first official trailer which amply offers a lot to hope for with Blade Runner helmer Ridley Scott lending his guidance as an executive producer, and acclaimed cinematographer Roger Deakins lending his own effort behind the lens.
Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.
