BULAN & PRIA TERHEBAT Trailer: Ghaz Abu Bakar’s New Action Comedy Finally Opens In Malaysia Next Month
Shutting down normal everyday life wasn’t an easy decision to make for everyone around the world near the start of the pandemic. The same goes for theatrical exhibitors, and particularly in Southeast Asia where Ghaz Abu Bakar’s Bulan & Pria Terhebat would have had its theatrical run last Spring, and now it looks like the film will finally get its day with an On Demand release locally from March 11, which should still grant the film an audience.
When her sister Melati gets kidnapped by a human trafficking syndicate in Malaysia, Bulan, a trainee in an Indonesian special forces team, embarks on a mission to save her. She is helped by an e-hailing driver, Haris, when she has to go up against a pimp, Agus, and his boss, Ricky. Things turn complicated when Bulan and Haris must evade the assassin hired by Ricky to kill them.
Actress and model Zahirah MacWilson stars along Wira co-star Zizak Rizan, and actors Khir Rahman, Sain Qudsi and Maya Karin.
