Director Xian Feng’s martial arts sci-fi, Kung Fu Traveler, reportedly earned a whopping 20 million views in its streaming release last year. It’s great news for Tiger Chen who currently has a full plate ahead of him with the upcoming production of ensemble action thriller, Triple Threat, and already with a few lead roles under his belt for that matter, namely the 2013 kung fu drama, Man Of Tai Chi. Mei Ah Announces DRAGON GATE ZOMBIE INN With Wilson Yip To Direct

Wilson Yip is set to direct martial arts zombie horror hybrid, Dragon Gate Zombie Inn, currently in pre-production with Soi Cheang producing. Mei Ah Entertainment has included the film in its Filmart slate this week with its desert-set tale of fortress-like Dragon Inn which becomes ground zero for a zombie invasion. There aren’t any casting announcements just yet while the film may set course for 2018, following their previous work on Yip’s upcoming crime pic, Paradox, which Cheang produced with Paco Wong. Revenge Actioner QUICK DRAW Casts Common To Star

Did you enjoy watching actor Common take on Keanu Reeves last month in Chad Stahelski’s John Wick: Chapter Two? If so, then get ready for the actor’s latest return to the genre with upcoming revenge thriller, Quick Draw with production slated for the summer in Los Angeles. Harris Goldberg will make his directorial outing here from his own script for which plot details remain pemding, but is said to otherwise include hyper-intense shootouts, car chases and fight action, according to Deadline. Lorenzo Di Bonaventura is producing with international sales agent Content Media’s Tom Butterfield and Greenlit Creative’s own David Greenblatt. If you’re looking for a female answer to John Wick, you needn’t look further than the first minute of the new red-band trailer for David Leitch’s solo directorial debut, Atomic Blonde. The film is inspired by Antony Johnston’s novel “The Coldest City”, which had me wondering about the name change of the film itself although considering what we have learned in the past week and the footage at hand, I honestly don’t see any of this as problematic. Point in fact, this trailer looks every bit as brutal, hard-hitting and sexy as all hell as one might have hoped.
