News comes by way of Variety‘s own Dave McNary on Friday who reported Giant Pictures’ acquisition of worldwide digital rights of the new martial arts action cinema documentary. Life changed for Chris on a Thursday evening, 7:15 to be exact. This is the moment his ex-girlfriend was brutally murdered. This past January saw its Italian theatrical release and thus, the aforementioned Texas-based firm is following suit with a digital, Blu-ray™ Combo Pack and DVD release on September 24. EXPO Official Trailer: An Ex-Soldier On The Run Fights To Clear His Name

Green Apple Entertainment is officially putting the word out as of Monday with the official trailer for action thriller, Expo. An August 3 digital release date is stamped for the new film from director Joseph MBah (Krampus: Origins). Billed as as a cross between Commando and Liam Neeson thriller, Taken, the film is further hailed with a tagline that reads “Los Angeles, California: This summer, bet on the soldier.” Actor Derek Davenport takes the lead as a fugitive ex-soldier cornered into one last job in order to save his client’s daughter and clear his name. Also starring are Amelia Haberman, Richard Lippert, Shepsut Wilson, Titus Covington and Michael C.Alavarez. Expo is produced by Amber Thompson and Nick LaRovere.
