Epic Japanese Poster For STREET FIGHTER: ASSASSIN'S FIST Is Epic
Opinions may vary, of course. But as much I love Japanese action movie posters, this artwork is too cool to not share on here. Not to mention the continued attention is so well deserved in turn with the hopes that a sequel will come as soon as possible. Check it out below:
As a pencil artist myself, I love Japanese posters for films, and as much of a milestone it is to see a Japanese property like Street Fighter get such legendary screen treatment by an awesome martial artist, actor and director like Joey Ansah is quite cathartic.
The poster comes in light of the series’ upcoming one day premiere at The Human Trust Cinema in Shibuya on August 2, with Ultra Street Fighter IV game producer Koichi Sugiyama and assistant producer Tomoyo Asano also in attendance. Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist will also arrive on television, as well as on DVD, Blu-Ray and digital download later this year in multiple terrirtories.
