HOMEWRECKER Sets Allison Williams And Michelle Randolph For Xavier Gens Sci-Fi Thriller Production This Summer
Xavier Gens (Under Paris, Hitman, Netflix’s “Lupin”, Sky’s “Gangs of London”, Farang /Mayhem!, upcoming Sanctuary, upcoming Malin Fors) is set to direct sci-fi survival actioner, Homewrecker, with cameras rolling in July in France. Starring are Allison Williams (Regretting You, M3gan, Get Out, HBO’s “Girls”) and Michelle Randolph (Paramount+’s “Landman”, Scream 7, Paramount+’s 1923) from an original screenplay by Elisa Bell (Vegas Station, Little Black Book) and Travis Gordon.
Here’s the logline: During a heart-breaking domestic revelation, three star-crossed Americans are suddenly forced to work together to survive a terrifying unexplained global event that threatens to destroy life as they know it. In the spirit of A Quiet Place, 10 Cloverfield Lane, and Independence Day, Homewrecker is a riotous, relentless, and singular sci-fi action adventure.
Denise Di Novi (Crazy, Stupid, Love, Little Women, A Walk To Remember, Batman Returns, Heathers), Margaret French Isaac (Stepmom, The Fan) and Oliver Scherick will produce for DI NOVI PICTURES, with John Zois (Greenland franchise, Amazon’s “The Girlfriend”, The Night House) and Warren Goz (The Marksman, Copshop, Asphalt City) producing for PARALLEL 42 ENTERTAINMENT. Michael Rothstein and Samuel Hall, whose NORTH.FIVE.SIX. (By Any Means, Regretting You, Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die, The Surfer, Locked) is fully financing and representing worldwide distribution rights, are exec producers alongside Williams. NORTH.FIVE.SIX. is also co-repping domestic with CAA MEDIA FINANCE and UTA INDEPENDENT FILM GROUP.
“I found the script riveting, and it had a depth that continued shifting and revealing itself as I read,” said Williams. “Then, knowing Xavier’s work, I was very eager to work with this talented filmmaker. I’m grateful to be part of this team and this project.”
Randolph adds, “I was immediately drawn to how Homewrecker blends psychological tension with something deeply character-driven. It has a kind of intensity and unpredictability that makes it such a compelling project. I’m so excited to be part of this with Allison and Xavier.

Gens is coming off Netflix’s hit Parisian creature feature Under Paris, Amazon’s global hit “Lupin”, and StudioCanal’s Mayhem!. Williams is coming off box office hit Regretting You for Paramount Pictures. Randolph is coming off major Paramount+ hit “Landman”, as well as Paramount’s box office hit Scream 7.
