JACK REACHER: NEVER GO BACK Brings More Than 90 Seconds Of Pain In The New Trailer
You can pretty much conclude that Christopher McQuarrie’s 2012 book adaptation, Jack Reacher was a hard act to follow-up on with a sequel considering its box office results at the time. Alas, it seems it’s not always the case that sequels fail to happen if the first installments don’t live up, though of course there has to be some modest success and support, which is exactly what that film has.
Fast forward to 2016 and following yesterday’s tease and last week’s new footage a la featurette at Entertainment Tonight, the new film, Jack Reacher: Never Go Back, has an official trailer now running online. Director Edward Zwick reunites with lead actor Tom Cruise back in the eponymous role authored in Lee Child’s hit book series as the adrift former military officer looks into the conspiracies surrounding his old unit, his ex-lover and a 16-year old murder.
Cruise is joined by Cobie Smulders, Aldis Hodge, Holt McCallany and Robert Knepper. Watch the new trailer ahead of the film’s October 21 release.
