NOVA: Don’t Miss The Official Trailer For The New Sci-Fi Thriller Opening On Digital Next Week
Dana Cowden’s new independent sci-fi thriller, Nova, is slated to release on digital next week on September 20, and you can check out the official trailer above before then. Cowden makes her feature debut from her own script with a cast led by Juliet Chevelle (The Letter), along with Chase Pollock (Heartland Cartel) and Leila Annastasia Scott (Darkridge).
Nova is the journey of an android that has been given feelings. As her feelings for her maker become romantic, she struggles to understand those feelings and to express them. The other androids onboard the ship headed for Mars do not share her affection for humans. They see themselves as slaves and mutiny against their human masters. Nova is forced to decide if she will side with her human crewmates or her own kind.
Skye Stracke and Ian Wilson also star. Pacific Northwest native and life-long creative Aaron Castillo (Hoarders) served as director of photography, with a score by C. Aaron Moore.
