RED LINE: E.SO Puts The Pedal To The Metal In The Official Trailer!
Director Jacky Ko’s (p.k.a. Ke Youqian) new high-speed thriller is on track for release on April 27 with Taiwanese flick, Red Line. The film’s campaign picked up quite a bit in the past week with an official poster as well as stills featuring actor and recording artist Eddie Chen (a.k.a. E•SO), and a roster that now makes official the addition of actor Andy Lau in a key role.
Alas, there’s the man front and center in the official trailer up and running as of last week, with Chen starring as a former illicit street racer affected by tragedy which compels him to put his leadfoot to use as an EMT. The film also marks Lau’s return to Taiwanese audiences since appearing as himself in Chen Yu-Shan’s 2015 romantic comedy, Our Times, as well as the twentieth anniversary since the passing of Ko’s father, late Hong Kong stunt man Blackie Ko.
