Simon West’s SKYFIRE Teases Hell On Earth In A Fiery First Poster
It was last October when word got around that Simon West (The Expendables 2, Gun Shy), wrapped his first Chinese feature film after five years of development. That project now arrives with the first piece of artwork for upcoming disaster thriller, Skyfire, produced and financed by Meridian Entertainment and Base Media.
Penned by Sidney King, Skyfire takes place on a volcanic island in the South China Sea where a young geologist and her father are now in a race against time to save lives before the island blows. Actress Hannah Quinlivan (S.M.A.R.T. Chase, Skyscraper), and actors Wang Xueqi (Bodyguards And Assassins, Helios) and Shawn Dou (Urban Games, To The Fore) are among those leading the cast.
