Actor Bradley Cooper and director Stephen Spielberg are officially teaming up to revisit Bullitt, according to the trades on Thursday. While not a remake, it is reported to be a new idea centered on the character from the 1968 original film.
I wondered what actor Bradley Cooper might be up to these days apart from his upcoming fall release, A Star Is Born. Deadline then came out with an exclusive last week that I found interesting as it pertains to his latest attachment to a longstanding spy character immortalized in the work of now late author Don Hamilton with title character, Matt Helm.
Before Hamilton’s death in 2006, Hamilton’s 27-novel franchise took off from 1960 through 1993 designating Helm on a series of missions after serving as a U.S. special agent and government assassin with an interest in a quiet family life in Santa Fe cut short by his imminent return to the field. The film has seen its legacy shared with other media, most prolifically with four feature films starring Dean Martin.
The Voyage Of Doctor Doolittle scribe Tom Shepherd, repped by WME, Think Tank Management and Jackoway Tyerman, is set to adapt a screenplay based on Hamilton’s work for Paramount Pictures. George Clooney, Grant Heslov, Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci will executive produce in addition to Steven Spielberg’s own involvement.
Set to the backdrop of ‘Awesome Mixtape #2,’ Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 continues the team’s adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos. The Guardians must fight to keep their newfound family together as they unravel the mysteries of Peter Quill’s true parentage. Old foes become new allies and fan-favorite characters from the classic comics will come to our heroes’ aid as the Marvel cinematic universe continues to expand.

Moviegoers can currently catch the voice of actor Bradley Cooper as a talking raccoon in Marvel’s latest box office hit, Guardians Of The Galaxy. In the meantime, the star best known for his roles in such films as Limitless, The A-Team remake, and prominently in writer/director Todd Phillips’s road comedy Hangover trilogy is currently on the path to work on forthcoming Mack Bolan project.

The summer is heating up with a huge slate of blockbusters, one of which is setting up to be another notch on the belt for Marvel’s growing cinematic universe with the upcoming release of director James Gunn‘s new film, Guardians Of The Galaxy. And with the film finishing things up on the post-production end, we have a new extended first look which grants us a slight variant of what we saw in the first world premiere trailer back in February.

Lego fans can get their hands on three new construction sets attributed to Marvel’s upcoming release of Guardians Of The Galaxy which will hit store shelves beginning June 1, exactly two months before the forthcoming film hits theaters nationwide. Written and directed by James Gunn, Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy further expands the Marvel Cinematic Universe following last year’s release of Thor: The Dark World, with actor Benecio Del Toro expanding his role a little more in the new film as The Collector. Del Toro joins Knight Rider reboot candidate, actor Chris Pratt along with actor Dave Bautista, actress and Avatar saga co-star Zoe Saldana, with voice performances by actors Vin Diesel and Bradley Cooper.
