Not too far off from its August 22 release is director Gordon Chan‘s epic fantasy martial arts action thriller finale, The Four 3D. I haven’t seen either of the first two films yet to have an opinion about this particular franchise, although I will say that while these films may not be a favorite for some, needless to say, its success speaks for itself. Check Out Two New Promo Spots For TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES!

I don’t normally push a lot of TV spots, but I’m compelled a little bit here when it comes to the new one being pushed for the upcoming release of director Jonathan Liebesman‘s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Of course, opinions are still floating around regarding how the CG turtles look, but the optimism is increasing little by little from the talk I’ve been hearing, and the most recent trailer is what is contributing to some of that newfound optimism. Still, the film awaits its first slate of reviews, and if they are any indication by then, hopefully the film will perform exceptionally enough for a sequel if necessary. And I would love to see an epic sequel take this newly rebooted screen franchise to the next level. Between November of 2012 and now, it’s pretty safe to say that the production of director Jacob Cheng‘s 3D fantasy action epic, The White-Haired Witch Of Lunar Kingdom has had its fair share of issues. The five-month filming process was completed earlier last year with the goal of releasing it domestically last December until it was pushed to three months ago. Needless to say, the film was pushed back again and is now headed for a theatrical premiere on the week of July 31. It’s likely that the production extensions may have been due to a number of post-production issues, and I’m only guessing based on my own vague knowledge of big blockbuster productions, plus, I’m illiterate when it comes to reading Mandarin-language media. It’s the latest cinematic return to bible lore in the new trailer for director Ridley Scott‘s upcoming sword-and-sandals epic, Exodus: Gods And Kings.
