July was a great month to be a martial arts fan with all the excuse in the world to repeat-watch the comic-con teaser trailer for the new martial arts thriller, Triple Threat. The Champ Is Here! This past week was cause for celebration amongst action fans. After an eight-year long wait, everyone’s favorite Russian prison fighter has returned to the ring in Boyka: Undisputed. The reason for the long wait has been well documented (rampant piracy) and if fans don’t support this film, we may never see Boyka again. ACCIDENT MAN Tumbles Online In A New Production Still

As filmmaker Jesse Johnson nears his end with Asian ensemble thriller, Triple Threat, so continues the journey of another with his other of several Scott Adkins headliners, Accident Man. Actress Amy Johnston (Lady Bloodfight) shared a recent photo of herself and our protagonist in gravity-defying fashion which you can view below. There’s no telling of a release schedule just yet as the film is still in post-production. Adkins, opposite Johnston, stars in the title role inspired by the once popular British comic book of the same name, telling of a cavalier “cleaning” expert who sets out for vengeance when his beloved girlfriend is murdered. Martial arts action star Scott Adkins is currently treading the streets of Thailand as one of the key antagonists on the set of Jesse Johnson’s ensemble action thriller, Triple Threat. Some of you might have noted Brit-kicker, actor Scott Adkins posting the above video of himself sporting a certain bearded look while training at a gym in Belgrade, Serbia. Review: ELIMINATORS (2016) Kicks Ass With Directorial Forte

In the years since I’ve had my eye on action star Scott Adkins, he’s almost never disappointed me as a fan or a critic. That wasn’t until Isaac Florentine’s The Shepherd in 2008, and with an unceremonious fight finale that paled in comparison to the riproaring sequences of his previous work, including Special Forces in 2003. Fast forward to 2016 and to say the least, I’ve become a little more objective in my fandom for the sake of critiquing movies on a larger scale than merely weighing in on how awesome fight scenes are. The past few weeks have been brewing something under the radar in a modest effort to surprise action fans before several details about Jesse V. It was just this summer when we finally learned of director Jesse Johnson’s latest return to the director’s chair for period action thriller, Savage Dog. The attachment of actor and martial artist Scott Adkins certainly emboldened things a bit followed by news of fellow stars Marko Zaror and Cung Le along with actress JuJu Chan certainly helped keep things afloat as production moved forward. The promotional campaign for the film hasn’t officially begun yet although what came of it about a month ago was a mock promotional poster which you can click here to check out.
