On-Set Stunts: A Word With Actor Darren Bailey For The New Film, LOST TIME

It was a film that I thoroughly enjoyed and one I am glad to have seen as that particular franchise progresses its next three films, with Macken also credited in its latest sequel, Catching Fire. Fight Factory 108 Gets SMACK(ED) DOWN With A New Practice Clip

In the tradition of continuing to introduce short practice fights that bring a sense of cinematic production value, the folks over at Fight Factory 108 took to YouTube this week to share their latest little 1-minute gem, Smack(ed) Down, directed by Michael Lehr. Testing out a newly made prop chair in addition to some new camera equipment, the clip featuring two of the team’s own, Katelyn Brooke and Narayana Cabral, both best known for their roles in Micah Brock’s highly successful action comedy webseries, Slug Street Scrappers. Action Takes Shapes In A New Short Kung Fu Clip With PeiPei Alena Yuen And Shaun Charney

Multifaceted actress, martial artist, screenfighter and dancer Peipei Alena Yuen is set to appear in Edge Of Faith, a new fan film short from director Andrew J. Neis based on the hit parkour action video game thriller. In light of this, Yuen, in recent weeks, also shared a newly completed fight clip to help continue showcasing her talents as a cinematic action performer opposite independent filmmaker and action veteran Shaun Charney. You may remember Charney if you are familiar with the growing independent action movement of the past decade, having worked with such folks as Micah Brock, Vlad Rimburg and Jeff Centuari to name a few. Some may remember this clip as it was partially introduced over the summer. I recently came across a new training reel uploaded on Eclipse Stunts page showcasing members DL MacDonald, Alex Chung, Jonathan Pang and Nibz Manek, with Tyler Williams of Riot A.C.T. and Dennis Lafond of OSS Action Team training at a Scarborough Gym Elites in Ontatio. I have mentioned MacDonald and Williams before on my Facebook page, as they have worked on several projects in the past. So it is always exciting to see new faces added to the mix with any two or more teams. To me, it further illustrates a sense of cohesiveness in the stunt community. When stunt teams collaborate, creativity sprouts, imaginations soar and great things tend to happen.
