The new trailer is out for the upcoming action thriller, The Liberator, featuing actor, seasoned martial artist, writer and independent filmmaker Ben Lettieri in his feature debut. It’s an indie project and has a bit of cheese to it, but it looks fun to watch so far based on the new action packed footage below, which also happens to feature several key members of the UK-based stunt team, SG Action with team member and co-star Martin Wan.
The film also stars Daniel Jordan, Jessica Bayly and Keith Chanter and is currently still filming with pick-up shots to follow this summer with a release likely for late 2014 or early next year. Keep your eyes peeled and stick around for more updates!
SYNOPSIS:
Have you ever felt like life was pushing you aside? As if your purpose was fulfilled? Ben Silver did. Once a British Special Forces soldier, he became the youngest man ever to receive the Victoria Cross for acts of gallantry on the front line. Ben was honourably discharged, received his 15 minutes and then left to ponder a career in politics. Sounds like a pretty fulfilling life, right? Well, not for Ben. You see, he’s not a talking man, he’s an action man! The concept of a life behind a desk just doesn’t bode well to an adrenalin junkie with a self confessed addiction for energy drinks. he knew he had to do something else, but that’s not the only reason why. There’s a deeper element to Ben that drives him forward every day, the legacy of his parents. His father, a former SAS soldier and his mother, a world champion martial artist, were both killed when Ben was 15. It was during crossfire in South America when trying to help a friend in need. He now lives in honour of what they died for, risking his life on a daily basis as a secret mercenary for hire in the guise of a private investigator who only helps those in real need. This brings us to his current case. Ben’s strong morals are tested when he agrees to help the beautiful Melinda Page, a reformed cat burglar, now manager of a respectable museum who has ironically been burgled herself. He must retrieve a priceless Ming Dynasty vase from the ruthless and eccentric London based con-man/gangster Mr Miller. With the help of his elderly mentor Dr Nigel Carter and undercover cop Daniel Stevens, all seems almost routine for Ben, except for one small detail, he only has a few hours to get the vase back before it is shipped overseas to black market buyers, never to be seen again. Not to mention the fact that Miller is not planning on sitting back and just letting Ben do his thing. Rolf, Ben’s arch rival, is hired to take care of him before he can even get close to the vase. The race and the chase are most definitely on! Will our courageous hero succeed in his mission, or will his brash actions be outwitted?

Mayu Kawamoto Is A One-Eyed Zombie-Killing Badass In The New Trailer For Z: THE MOVIE
Proving once again that its never too late or too early in the year for a zombie flick, acclaimed J-horror filmmaker Norio Tsuruta is ready to share his newest contribution to the genre with the new live-action zombie action adventure, Z: The Movie.
Written and directed by Tsuruta, the new film is based on Koji Aihara’s George A. Romero-inspired 2012 manga publication, centering on three characters caught in the middle of a zombie epidemic. And, what better way to tell such a story than getting a genuine martial artist and actress to observe the action? Yes, in case you’re wondering, that’s U.S.-born Kyokushin black belt and High Kick Angels co-star, actress Mayu Kawamoto leading the way as the eye-patch wearing, naginata polearm-wielding zombie slayer, Rinko Toda, who is one of only a handful of survivors forced to take refuge in a hospital as the apocalypse ensues.
Kawamoto is joined by actresses Noriko Kijima and Miharu Tanaka. The film will reportedly be part of a six-volume DVD set of other zombie-relared short stories following its domestic release on July 26. Check out the first teaser trailer below and stick around for more info!

AMERICAN JUSTICE To Lead A Six-Film Venture With Paseo Miramar Studios And Hannover House
My first introduction to actor Tommy “Tiny” Lister was when I was much younger with the 1989 flick, No Holds Barred. I was a fan then, and the actor has stayed busy ever since then, working on a number of film and TV projects throughout his career, including even appearing opposite Jean-Claude Van Damme in Roland Emmerich’s 1992 thriller, Universal Soldier, and the first and second installments of the Friday Franchise opposite lead actor Ice Cube.
SUBMERGED Sinks You Into Action With A New Trailer
This one caught me off guard. Really, it was quite a surprise to see action Mario Van Peebles fall into my line of sight again when I’m sifting through webpages for film info, this time in a new trailer for the upcoming suspense thriller, Submerged. Here, we see Peebles starring opposite actor Jonathan Bennett who plays the last hope for a group of teenagers whose limousine sink following an ambush by masked men. It looks very fast paced and should serve as a well-worthy treat for fans who love a good thriller.
We’ll hear more about this eventually. In the meantime, watch the trailer and brace yourselves until it’s release later this year.
Submerged also stars Talulah Riley, Tim Daly, Cody Christian and Rosa Salazar, and is directed by Steven C. Miller.
SYNOPSIS:
A limo ride home from a party turns into a terrifying ordeal for a group of college kids. A young woman and her friends have been targeted by a ring of vengeful kidnappers and must do everything they can to survive after their limo is forced off the road and plunged into a canal.
Liam Neeson Walks The Grim Line To Redemption In The New Trailer For A WALK AMONG THE TOMBSTONES
Nope, nobody took anything from actor Liam Neeson this time, but that won’t stop him going above and beyond the call of duty to deliver his own brand of justice in writer and director Scott Frank’s newest crime thriller, A Walk Among The Tombstones. The film is also likely love letter to book enthusiasts familar with the original 1992 publication of the same name by novelist Lawrence Block, centered on fictional lead character, Matthew Scudder, a former NYPD detective whose story is featured in Block’s 17 novels.
