13 BOMBS: Indonesian Action Heats Up In The Official Teaser
Folks lining up for the 18th Jogja-Netpac Asian Film Festival kicking off next weekend will be among the first to catch Angga D. Sasongko’s new espionage thriller, 13 Bom di Jakarta (internationally titled 13 Bombs. The film screens as part of the closing ceremony for the festival on December 2, as Visinema Pictures readies to release the film locally in theaters on December 28, now launching its campaign with a new official teaser following several behind-the-scenes featurettes and world sales launch at AFM by WME Independent.
Jakarta, the metropolitan city with all its hustle and bustle, suddenly became dark. A group of terrorists launched their attack with the threat of 13 bombs scattered throughout Jakarta. Investigations by the Intelligence Agency and secret agents into the terror led to Oscar (Chicco Kurniawan) and William (Ardhito Pramono) who were thought to be involved. The secret agent team’s mission becomes complicated when they suspect there is an intruder on the team. On the other hand, the leader of the terrorist group, Arok (Rio Dewanto) continues to spread terror by exploding bombs every 8 hours. The only way to stop this terror attack is to hand over billions of rupiah worth of rewards in the form of bitcoin to Arok or the safety of all Jakarta residents will be threatened.
