MEDIEVAL Adds Til Schweiger
Monday will mark the start of principal photography for Czech action epic, Medieval. The film’s latest exciting addition to the cast now brings news of actor Til Schweiger, according to Jeremy Kay at Screendaily. Ben Foster covets the central role of legendary 14th century war hero and strategist, Jan Zizka, who, along with his band of men are bound with the fate of an heiress to take down a rival king. As the report notes, Schweiger will portray Rosenberg, the wealthiest lord in the land with Caine playing Lord Boresh, Czech King Wenceslaus IV’s right-hand man. I’ve had handfuls of conversations about Peter Berg’s Mile 22, and they do sort of speak to my dimming enthusiasm for the film since the lot us penned and hyped the possibility of seeing Iko Uwais flourish in a new potential franchise. Admittedly, the more the PR became centric on Mark Wahlberg, the less I was sold on the idea of this film actually being prospective, and then came the reviews and reactions upon its theatrical release last month.It was also off-putting to learn in an interview at Empire that the creation of the character Wahlberg plays was partly inspired by this blithering piece of shit in particular, politics nothwithstanding. With the foothold superhero movies have gained throughout the spectrum of cinema, the dynamics fluctuate greatly with Hollywood being the most noticeable blip. Other territories sprout with more regional appeal whereas Victor Vu’s latest, Loi Bao, has the fruit of momentum on its heels for greater profusion. THE IMMORTAL: A Dark, Timeless Epic Awaits In The New Official Trailer
Director Victor Vu is now two-for-two in recent memory. Having made a dent in the festival scene with superhero action sci-fi, Loi Bao, his latest, The Immortal, now aims higher in its cinematic scope and visual volume with Loi Bao actor Quach Ngoc Ngoan front and center. Actress Dinh Ngoc Diep inaugurates the tale telling as a woman who journeys to a mysterious cave containing the terrifying secrets of Hung, a man who has lived for three centuries. What unfolds is an epic narrative that explores Hung’s life – one filled with ambition, vengeance and dark magic. The newest official trailer is online and surely goes out of its way to provide some visual allure for its narrative near the start. Vu’s noted alliance also has him joined by Loi Bao cohorts, action director Vincent Wang and action producer Jason Ninh Cao for the film’s October 12 release.

DAREDEVIL: Season Three Sees Devilish Confessions In The First Teaser
Season two of Iron Fist is now here and with it, the first official teaser for Netflix’s third season of Daredevil. More info will likely emerge in the next few months as New York Comic Con approaches to announce the show’s upcoming continuation from the first two seasons, as that of ensemble spin-off, The Defenders. Actor Charlie Cox’s imminent return gets a foreboding signal this week with Cox in the old black-clad look originally featured in season one and his dialogue seemingly defeats any notion this could be a flashback scene. IRON FIST: SEASON 2 Lives To Fight Another Day
The new season of Iron Fist is now here and I actually couldn’t be happier. The first season drew some pretty proper criticisms for its structural aspects and some fans are apparently still apprehensive in their lingering sentiments over the show’s star, Finn Jones. I have to say though that there’s plenty that comes out much better in the handling of the action to coincide with some of the drama. Continuing from season one and its ensemble pivot to The Defenders, Danny Rand has taken the mantle in protecting New York City from crime. Balancing it all with his personal life with Colleen Wing still has its challenges but it’s nothing they can’t handle until questions begin to stir some gravely important issue concerning them both.
