BULLOCK THE BRUISER Set To Clobber Bad Guys For One Night In NYC This April!

Initially planned as a webseries of sorts, debut helmer Marcelo Mayen chose to go the route of a shortfilm with his new dark vigilante short, Bullock The Bruiser, introducing lead actor Will Parker in the title role. It’s a project I myself look forward to Hit Listing while Mayen continues to hit the film festival circuit with his premiere project, and that journey continues later this month when it lands at Cinema Village for a ticketed screening among other selections currently hosted by the Manhattan Film Festival. Andrei Volgin’s DANCE TO DEATH Drops Bombs And Beats In The Final Trailer

In the time that director Andrei Volgin’s latest film, Dance To Death, has been picking up steam, it’s a film that otherwise looks to share space with other titles as exemplary of Russia’s efforts to stand out in film. It shows, and it looks fantastic, and for what it’s worth, we get just a little more offered in the slick, energizing final trailer for sci-fi thriller which is set to open this month in Russia. Ivan Zhankov leads the tale set in 2070 dystopian Moscow where young contestants are forced to compete for the survival of mankind through a dangerous and deadly game. Also starring are Lusha Ilyashenko, Nikita Volkov and Alexander Tyutin among our cast and thus, if there were ever a case for big-scale Russian productions to lend a greater eye overseas, Dance To Death certainly makes it, methinks. Lionsgate From its Fall theatrical release in 2012 and then on, you will never see me not supporting or endorsing director Pete Travis’s 2000 A.D. hit adaptation, Dredd. Yes, it’s a hit both critically and from a cult perspective, and much more deserving than the reception it got five years ago when fans decided to save their money to make themselves dizzy the following month with Taken 2… I can’t even. THE RIFT: Kaleidoscope Releases The New Sci-Fi In The UK Today!

Dejan Zecevic’s award-winning sci-fi thriller, The Rift, has a U.S. release pending for certain. In the meantime, following event screenings in Germany, Italy and Portugal in Spain, Jinga Films has announced a March 27 U.K. release as of Monday for the new film courtesy of Kaleidoscope Home Entertainment. Ken Foree (Dawn Of The Dead), Monte Markham (The Six Million Dollar Man) and Katarina Kas (The Wolf Of Wall Street) star as CIA agents sent to explore the aftermath of a US space craft which has crashed in Serbia. In a derelict building they discover an astronaut who holds the secret to the ill fated mission and is the carrier of a mysterious virus which threatens mankind by bringing the dead back from the grave.
