Principal photography has reportedly been completed in Los Angeles for new limited digital series, FraXtur. Screenwriter Zack Ward and director, Emmy-winning producer Christopher Douglas-Olen Ray (Circus Kane) co-created the series which hails from Burbank-based DEINSTITUTIONALIZED LLC, LANY Entertainment and END OF THE ROSE LLC.
“FraXtur” chronicles a ragtag, millennial, breakfast club thrust into a post apocalyptic wasteland. The characters quickly realize that their lack of food, shelter and water are not their only challenges – when tribal clans and unimaginable monsters threaten their very existence!
The official cast lists Brittany Curran (The Magicians), Denise Richards (Starship Troopers) and Camille Winbush (The Bernie Mac Show) along with Karl Yune (Arrow), Leon Thomas III (Insecure), Max Adler (The Flash), multiple Emmy winner Kristos Andrews, Cody Saintgnue (Teen Wolf), Emmy winner Eric Nelsen, Ciara Hanna, Chasty Ballesteros and Sinjin Rosa.
Rounding out the cast will be WWE superstar Dallas Page (The Devil’s Rejects), Alma Award-winner Maria Conchita Alonso (The Running Man, Predator 2) and Emmy-winner Jade Harlow (The Bay) among those frequenting guest roles between various and multiple episodes.
Telly Award-winners DeInstitutionalized LLC partners Gerald Webb and Christopher Ray co-produced the series along with multiple Emmy-winner Gregori J. Martin. Alexander Yellen (Z-Nation) served as cinematographer.
DEINSTITUTIONALIZED, LLC is a Burbank based production company behind cult favorites Circus Kane, A House is Not a Home, A&E’s A Wedding to Die For, Framed By My Fiancé and Fiancé Killer. LANY Entertainment’s series, The Bay, won six 2018 daytime Emmys, including Best Digital Series.
