SDCC 2014: Road Rage Goes Nuclear In The New Teaser For MAD MAX: FURY ROAD
Director and co-writer George Miller may have taken sixteen years or so to finally manifest his vision for a fourth installment in the epic desert Mad Max saga, but the efforts have already been paying off. Tom Hardy takes the lead handed down from previous franchise actor Mel Gibson who headlined the first three movies up to Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome (1986), and despite some of the significant hinderances the film endured, early test screenings are drawing some pretty positive buzz, particularly from this weekend’s events at San Diego Comic Con with the first four character posters unveiled on Saturday.“MAD MAX: FURY ROAD is the fourth film of George Miller‘s Road Warrior/Mad Max franchise co-written and directed by Miller. And… Furiosa (played by CHARLIZE THERON from Prometheus), a woman of action and a woman who believes her path to survival may be achieved if she can make it across the desert back to her childhood homeland.”
