Chan followed suit in 2000 with Gen-Y Cops (a.k.a. Metal Mayhem) which returned Lee and Fung and also starred actress Maggie Q and pre-Marvel actor Paul Rudd with actor Edison Chen then leading the cast. Given the events of the first film and lack of current details, it’s not yet clear as […]

The last 24 hours or so have been a mild mix of exciting and irksome with some fans exhibiting worry over The Wave helmer Roar Uthaug’s latest game adaptation, Tomb Raider. Angelina Jolie’s own performances falls somewhat memorable for most fans and we’ve yet to see what actress Alicia Vikander’s own portrayal will bring to the masses, save for a few stills and a trailer tease that went viral on Monday. Personally, I think the reactions emerging so soon could do for some furthet waiting. In the meantime, the movie officially opens on March 16, 2018 and with plenty of time between now and then, IGN is hosting a live stream around 1:00am EST with the actress in which they will also broadcast the first official teaser trailer to kick it all off. AMC Having suffered the lack of access to AMC in the years prior, it was only until its arrival on Netflix this month that I was able to catch all six episodes of the hit series, Into The Badlands from creators Alfred Gough and Miles Millar. This comes in lieu of a second season which premieres on March 19 and I can honestly say that I really enjoyed what this show has to offer. Granted, TV shows can be a bit challenging too with some stretching as far as ten or twelve one-hour episodes. Sure that means more content but you still run risk of being repetitive and mundane which, gladly, Into The Badlands avoids at just six episodes for its first season, keeping things fresh and moving and ever-developing and evolving. And above all else, with none other than Daniel Wu starring as the show’s lead as Sunny, the […]

Just shy of continuing his epic quest this Spring as the lead character of AMC’s hit martial arts fantasy television series, Into The Badlands, actor Daniel Wu is now poised for a part in Roar Uthaug’s forthcoming Tomb Raider reboot next to actress Alicia Vikander. As Variety tells it, the actor, best known for his career in a range of Hong Kong and Hollywood titles like Naked Weapon and Warcraft, will play the role of Lu Ren, a ship captain who assists our heroine’s quest to find her father. That heroine would be adventurer Lara Croft, the role previously coveted by actress Angelina Jolie for both the 2001 and 2003 films inspired by the longstanding Eidos/Square Enix adventure game franchise, scoring $432 million dollars collectively; Square Enix rebooted the game franchise with a younger 21-year old iteration of the character in 2013. The movie reboot itself, from Warner Bros., MGM […]
