At 28, Brahim Achabbahke is an internationally accomplished stuntman, martial arts actor, stunt coordinator and stunt performer. His career in the field only got brighter when he began pursuing martial arts at age 15, and then beginning work in Thailand at age 22. To name of few since then, he has worked on dozens of film projects, sharing credits with the likes of Jean-Claude Van Damme, Gary Daniels, Tim Man, Kazu Patrick Tang, Jeeja Yanin, Prachya Pinkaew and Tony Jaa.
As 2013 rolls on, martial arts cinema fans will rave with anticipation with some of the year’s biggest titles bound for release this year, with the release of MAN OF TAI CHI and the upcoming Scott Adkins action sequel, NINJA 2, directed by Isaac Florentine. In anticipation of this, Brahim also has a few projects of his own in the works, one of which is on the way to the film festival circuit this summer called MARKSMEN. In addition, Brahim is currently involved in an on-going fundraising campaign for an inspired action feature film called HAMMER-ON, to be directed by expert action cinematographer and hopeful filmmaker, Ross Clarkson.
With any luck and enough donations, Hammer-On will be another history-making contemporary action classic for fans to enjoy. If you are still not convinced, then check out Brahim’s latest showreel and see what’s in store for the film, which, granted that the fundraiser is a success, will see Brahim feature as the film’s co-star and fight choreographer.
Currently, Ross is on location in Bulgaria shooting HERCULES 3D with director Renny Harlin (Die Hard 2, Cliffhanger, 12 Rounds), and actor Kellan Lutz. Meantime, check out the reel below, and make it go viral. Hopefully this will help get the ball rolling and make Hammer-On a reality.

Deadline reported on Monday that actor Danny Woodburn has been tapped for the role of Master Splinter in the upcoming film, Ninja Turtles. The 48 year old actor and advocate for the disabled, whose TV and film credits also include The Pretender, She Spies, Seinfeld, Watchmen and Mirror, Mirror, will be joined by Megan Fox who will play April O’Neil. In addition, the main ‘Turtles’ cast will include Pete Plozek as Leonardo, Noel Fischer as Michelangelo, Jeremy Howard as Donatello, and Alan Ritchson as Raphael. Also joining is Will Arnett, whose role has yet to be disclosed.
In the original story, Master Splinter was once the beloved pet of a great and honorable ninja named Hamato Yoshi, whose training inspired Splinter to mimick his movements. Yoshi met his fate at the hands of fellow ninja, Oroku Saki, who would later become the Turtles’ bitter rival known as The Shredder — this is not to say just yet that Shredder will be cast in the film, although it would be a very enjoyable spectacle if we got to see a version of Shredder that actually shredded stuff. Just sayin.
The film goes into production this month in New York City, rebooting the classic comic book, television and film franchise from the late 80s and early 1990s, based on characters created by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird. The film is produced by Michael Bay, Galen Walker, Andrew Form, Bradley Fuller and Scott Mednick for Nickelodeon Movies and Platinum Dunes with Denis L. Stewart, Eric J. Crown and Napoleon Smith III serving as executive producers.
Ninja Turtles will be released on June 6, 2014 by Paramount Pictures.

Here is synopsis and a press release rundown of the film courtesy of Dread Central:
Actor Wesley Snipes (Passenger 57, The Art Of War, Blade) won’t have much of an issue with finding work now that he is out of jail and a free man. Sylvester Stallone confirmed via Twitter on Sunday night that Snipes will be involved in the third installment of the epic ensemble action film franchise, in addition to further assurance that actor and filmmaker Mel Gibson will direct the film.
SYNOPSIS:
When two reluctantly partnered homicide detective sergeants, Martin Riggs and Roger Murtaugh, are assigned to look into the mysterious death of a prostitute, the case becomes a murder investigation into an elaborate drug smuggling operation run by former Vietnam soldiers. But when they kidnap Riggs and Murtaugh along with Murtaugh’s daughter, things get personal, and the only thing that matters for Riggs and Murtaugh, is vengeance!
It was announced in 2011 that Warner Bros. set plans in motion to reboot the 1987 buddy cop action blockbuster, Lethal Weapon, which starred Mel Gibson and Danny Glover as the classic characters, Detective Seargants Martin Riggs and Roger Murtaugh. The original film, directed and co-produced by Richard Donner, became a major commerical success and spawned three more sequels through 1998, tentatively ending the franchise with the release of Lethal Weapon 4, which shot then Hong Kong action star Jet Li to stardom.
While Lethal Weapon is not the first film of its kind to follow the buddy cop genre, the film is still heralded as classic among classics. It has high-adrenaline action scenes, intense drama, epic gun battles and plenty of memorable of poignancy and awkward comedy to connect the audience to the story. Plus, the chemistry between Gibson and Glover is brilliant. When they are on screen, they are not artificial or superhumam. The performances are organic and relatable, and the development between both of these characters is nothing short of exquisite. Moreover, fight trainers Cedric Adams, Dennis Newsome and Rorion Gracie were hired to help almagamate several fighting styles to manifest the exhilarating fight scenes featuring coordinated by the late Bobby Bass, whose IMDb credits are an absolute list of famous action movie titles, including Black Rain, Preadtor, The Crow, Rising Sun,The Bodyguard, The Perfect Weapon and many more.
It’s no wonder that this film deserves its appreciation if it does get rebooted. The original film brought a sense of pure and raw value to the buddy cop genre that might become difficult to duplicate or re-envision in a reboot. Although, as sure as I am that the franchise has pretty much made all its money back by now, lol, I am a proud action film fan, and I do look forward to whatever the studio comes up with when Will Beall’s script is finally realized in the film’s production. It may have been a few years since its announcement, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it will not happen. Considering how Glover and Gibson have already explained how they feel about the reboot, it’s totally understandable how some may feel about it too. At any rate, however, we will see how this story turns out.
In the meantime, there is not much else I can say about the film except, well, if you or someone you know is suffering from a severe action film deficiency, you can find the film on DVD or Blu-Ray whever movies are sold. You can also find the complete box set at Amazon.
The film was also produced by Joel Silver for Silver Pictures, based on a screenplay by Shane Black, and was distributed by Warner Bros.
