Hopefully though, the film managed to succeed its dealings while gracing the presence of an audience this month at the American Film Market and hopefully fans will get to see just what Wu has in store for this, his second to last performance on film. With Skin Trade currently in post production, cinematic blockbuster action hero Dolph Lundgren‘s time is now being spent with Saints And Soldiers trilogy helmer Ryan Little for the forthcoming production of War Pigs, a World War II action adventure epic about a disgraced U.S. Army captain assigned to train a rag tag team of soldiers to infiltrate the Nazi regime and destroy their secret “wonder weapon”. Screenwriters Andrew Knightlinger and producer Steven Luke are providing the script with a meaty cast of action muscle with fellow Expendables alum Mickey Rourke along with MMA pro Chuck Liddell and actor Luke Goss. The film reportedly has funding, but recently tried to raise a little extra on Kickstarter to pay for extras and other vehicle props before crowdfunding was cancelled sometime thereafter. Well, it only took eight months for the ball to get rolling, but the word now is that the forthcoming production of the next Isaac Florentine action thriller, Close Range, will commense filming on December 1, from Bleiberg Entertainment’s Compound B. The initial report back in January announced the film’s latest reuinion for cult martial arts superstar Scott Adkins, and director Isaac Florentine, following eleven years of successful action hits like Special Forces (2003), Undisputed 2 & 3 and Ninja: Shadow Of A Tear (2013). It’s been a little over half a year since director Wych Kaosayanada‘s long-awaited 2012 bilingual crime thriller, Angels, took new life as Zero Tolerance, starring Dustin Nguyen, Sahajak Boonthanikit and Gary Daniels. A few casting changes and reshoots this this time around helped gear the film toward a more action-oriented fanbase with the addition of martial arts action stars Kane Kosugi and Scott Adkins who were finally seen in the film’s first trailer back in May. This week, a new version of that same trailer is now online with some added subtitles in a few spots; It’s the same trailer, really. The new U.S. trailer landed this month director Eric Styles‘ latest action adventure creature feature, Legendary, following its acquisition by Wrekin Hill Entertainment in Fall of last year.
